First off this is a fantasy adventure shtick, but all the Forum Members I respect most post here the most. A group of very experienced Heroes each have a dream/nightmare. It involves their friend and sometime patron Baron Imric. An extremely powerful Wizard and Adventurer. An albino elf with a disturbing presence of Macabre, Sadism, and vengeful nature. Years earlier, a critically failed spell Summoned a Demon, but not just any Demon, but a Demon Lord. (FYI, he rolled 666 not once, not twice, but three times in a row.) The Demon Lord has been his own personal Demon. Now it is sending dreams/nightmares to the Heroes. Trying to weaken their loyalty and manipulate them into bringing this would be world conqueror down. I have been sending them personal emails. Here are some examples. QM P.S.: Cast of Characters Sir Ismael (Jonathon) – A male Human Rogue, Warrior, and Wizard. He was born in Al-Haz and fled to the City of Tredroy to avoid being killed as a Wizard. He strong senses of drama which at times is at odds with the Companions goals. He is unpredictable and that makes him as often an asset as annoyance to some companions. High Craftmaster Dain (Brian) – A male Dwarf Warrior, King Nain's Champion and Mastersmith. He is a master of the axe and proven asset. He adventures with the Companions to watch Imric and eventually return to his lost homeland and reclaim it from the Orcs and other creatures in the dark. He somewhat romantic/lecher when it comes to short women. Mistress Artesian (Chona) – A female Mountain Elf Wizard. This lady is infatuated with Imric and mentally disturbed. She desires to be Queen of the Elves. Yet the elves do not have queens. The longer she lives the more powerful she becomes. Only time will determine if she reaches her goals. She follows Imric, but also to stop the threat to the Black Woods and the Elves. Baron Kraypike (Darryl) – A Goblin Wizard. This corpulent Elementalist Mage is obsessed with creating Elementals and Magic in general. He is cousin to a former member of the Companions. He is a practical joker and often at the expense of the Companions. His pranks often turn nasty when played on their enemies. Mistress Katsumi Omotto - a Human/Were Snake Warrior & Wizard (Moon Aspected) Bodyguard of Mistress Arteasian. Master Fingolfin (Rufus) – A male Wood Elf Wizard Warrior. Journeyman Enchanter and Smith. His quest is to create a "Hastur Blade". He is graduate of Istarlond and member of the Companions. Imric (Rufus) – A male Mountain Elf Wizard, Knight of the Hearth, Baron of Lorien, and sworn liege man to the Prince of Cardiel. A sickly albino, with a silver chased hook replacing his right hand. Yet he exudes an aura of the macabre (death). He is renowned as a powerful Wizard and the Fist of the Prince, but this is also tempered by his reputed use of Necromancy and infamous cruelty. He is an absentee land lord, but still maintains close control of his lands. Cat (Eddie) - A male Were Panther Warrior. Knight of the Order of the Stone, Weapons Master and sometimes member of the Velvet Hammer and the Companions. Beloved of Dame Kenzie of Sterling and Lord of Silver Hall. Even Kraypike's endless mirth seems somewhat deflated. The cost was high, but even the Dwarves can spare some sympathy for the devastation the group has left behind. The sounds of the enemy marshaling their forces for another attack does not even fire your blood anymore. A familiar pale face appears out of black and Imric steps foreword. His normally disturbing presence seems muted and somehow. King Nain's personal bodyguards arrive, though much depleted they still stand, as does your foster brother King Nain. As you turn towards him with and greet him with a tired smile, the Shadows attack in force. Your last sight of the Nain before the blackness engulfs you is Imric suddenly reaching towards him with his Narwhale Rapier extend and a spell of death radiating from its tip. In his hook is the Jewel of Dwarven Kings of Ginnrel, a powerstone of immense taken from the King. Suddenly you can see again. Your roar of outrage stuck in your throat, you heart racing. Disoriented, you look around at the now familiar surrounding of the Great Hall of KBR's Tredroy Mansion. Your body shudders from half remembered agony of Imric's expert torture. Your voice croaks, raw from agonizing screams, and full of bile. These are dream, nightmare, or memories half remembered. Your wrist still hurts from when he severed it, the healing scar is still fresh, and tender. The smile lingers disturbingly in your memory and you realize he might be torturing you without asking anymore. Katsumi rushes to your side concerned about you waking scream...
