3 pt CSL vs 5 pt CSL

I'm a little unclear on the distinction between 3pt and 5pt CSLs

Would "all swords" be 3pts or 5pts? There's a lot of sword types, but the group itself is pretty small compared to all possible melee attacks. Is a 3pt CSL meant to approximately mean "three attacks"?

- all daggers = 3pts

- all one-handed swords = 3 pts

- all two-handed swords = 3 pts

- all blades = 5 pts

or maybe...

- all swords & daggers = 3 pts

- all axes = 3 pts

- all swords & axes = 5 pts

- all melee weapons = 8 pts

what do you think?

Re: 3 pt CSL vs 5 pt CSL

Did you read through 6E1, p70? There are some good examples.

However, to cut to the chase:

- all swords = 3pts

- all daggers = 3pts

- all bladed weapons = 5pts

- all axes = 3pts

- all melee weapons = 8pts

One Handed Swords and Two Handed Swords are similar enough in style that I don't think I would make the distinction.

All Swords and Daggers is 'All Bladed Weapons' and is 5pts.

Sword and Axe work tends to be distinctive enough that I'm not sure I would allow them to be grouped together. I would tend towards two separate categories.
