yamamura
I am getting ready to run an none Earth animepunk campaign set in a back ground of my own making but otherwise using Kazei 5 for equipment. I have Kawa City mapped out (see below) but I am looking for names. While I have some names (Golden Circle, Shirow Ward, Sea Wall and Bay Rock for example) I am looking for more. My biggest fear is getting trapped following in a naming pattern which I want to avoid. So I am asking for some help. First let me say, anybody who helps will get hit with rep if I can. Now for some information for help naming: Green Areas = Greater Mexico Pink Areas = Alliance of Pacific States (emphasis on Japan) Blue Areas = North American Alliance The domed communities to the northeast do not have any names and can be of any nationality. The Space port already have a name. The yellow area is the Golden Circle home to arcologies and the such. The planet has no surface water and the city is built in carved out basin that was once a river. The city is surrounded by 12 Oxygen towers that uses low level deflectors to keep the oxygen contained (ala Cowboy Bebop) withing the city. The red line leaving the city is Hope Highway. Thanks for any naming help.
Sundog
Re: Kawa City Planet Kuriousei I would suggest the wedge-shaped sector in the Alliance of Pacific States region abutting the North American Alliance region be Black Stump, or possibly Outback, an Australian minority sector deliberately placed as a buffer against NAA culture (since the Australians largely have that culture anyway). You can use this to point out the cultural stresses inside the large alliances, and even use it as a political hook (such as if a movement to transfer the sector to the NAA's sphere of control starts within Black Stump, and the APS's reaction to that).
