Error in Basic Rules? Skill levels

Hi Steve!

 

I just got Hero System Basic Rulebook and I noticed something that caused some concern. The forums say that Overall Skill Levels now cost 12 points in 6e. Yet on page 29 the Skill Levels Table lists Overall Skills as 10 points each.

 

So question: Is that correct? Are BR rules supposed to be different, or was that a typo? And if it's a typo, what are the correct point costs for that table, because the last 4 entries in that table look kinda suspicious as well.

P.S. You also have a typo on page 26. Under 10 point combat skills, the text refers to "8 point Combat Skill Level." It should be "10." That one is obviously a typo though.

 

P. P. S. Is there any other errata available? I looked in "Free Stuff" but didn't see any. If not maybe add some to the HERO Games Product Line forum? Just one post each time you find some, or edit the first post (yours) and add the errata to the end of the product description? This would organize it into an easy to find spot. Thanks again.

The known errata for each book are posted on each book's errata page, which are accessible via the "Hero System Games And Products" link on the left-hand side of the website's main page (the last item in the drop-down menu is "Errata").
