Re: Dimensional Crossover

Economaster has had several relationships in the past, most of which ended well, but her spiritual duties prevented a long term relationship. In such an alternative world, she would probably be depowered, and somewhat worried about that. If, on investigation, she finds that there is a guardian of the world economy that is functioning well on this world, and she finds no tools to get herself back to her home dimension, she would happily settle down with whoever and use the secrets she has learned over the years of heroing to become a very, very rich woman.

The Golem would be frankly shocked to find any world that would have him in a relationship with a human of that sort... and appalled at a relationship with another golem. I don't think it would have the skills to maintain a relationship of that nature, and with the heavy knowledge that it was probably hurting someone deeply (one more sin to bear...) disappear into it's ongoing journey of personal enlightenment and redemption alone as always...

Re: Dimensional Crossover

Wow. This one is strange on a lot of levels for Vigil.

Given his background simply being able to be in a stable, comitted relationship mean that a LOT of his history changed.

The short version is, his biological father had his mother and grandparents killed, then recruited him for a covert war against the U.S. government as the 'freedom fighter' (supervillian, to be honest) Stalker. When he found out what had been going on, he... well, he killed his father and ran. Changed his costume and tried very hard to be a hero, to try and make up for what he had done knowing full well it would never be enough.

Under those circumstances, Vigil is at least moderately paranoid about his past, which pretty much dooms any possibility of a relationship.

So, with this going on, Vigil's first and only priority is to put thing back. Whoever he is in this world is probably going to be in a lot of trouble shortly back in my world - he doesn't even know that his face is wanted by law enforcement nationwide, so he won't go in disguise like Vigil does when he's in 'secret ID.' (Just how secret, even his teammates didn't know). And... to be frank, Vigil would know that he isn't the man this woman loves, even if they look the same; even if they share the same DNA.

She deserves her husband back. Vigil has exactly no right to usurp his place.

Re: Dimensional Crossover

Badger-not married, and never really dated to be honest. By the time he got old enough for that, he had already developed a bit of a one-track mind for revenge. And he kind of is completely socially inept with women outside of battle (which means it had to have been a relationship developed with a teammate/NPC ally at some point). He probably wouldnt mind the "idea" of marriage at least. Though, he most certainly would not except it taking too much time from his fighting.

Frosty Bob- (well waking up somewhere wierd isnt unusual so it might take awhile) Holy (edited) someone didnt stop me that time I was drunk 10 years ago from going to Vegas with that redhead in the bar. How the (edit) did it last 10 years? Has absolutely no desire to marry whatsoever, has no desire for more than a one night (maybe long weekend) stand.

Note: Course, it is possible Bob fell in love in the distant past. But, it would likely not only be interdimensional but have to go in the past aways or the woman or women in question would have died of old age.

Realized I forgot to add my chars.

Garrett has to try to return home. This isn't right. Even if he seems happy in the pictures he finds, this isn't home. Even though his wife is gone and his son is dead back home, he believes in playing the cards you are dealt.

Bolt is a high school senior. There's a lot going on here if he's married. First he would look around to find out if this was a "have-to" marriage. Unlikely as he has strong religious convictions, then again, that's in the regular dimension. If there is a child in the picture, break out the smelling salts, because he's going to pass out at the thought of being a dad while still in high school.

Then there's the question of who. There are only two options in his past. Teammate Tracy, whom he dated while he was on the outs with Nicci (the other possibility). Really doesn't matter in what he does next-he would attempt to return home. He would not give in to the teenage hormones rushing in his body at the mere thought that it would be legal. He didn't say the vows, his alternate did (lucky devil!). That wouldn't be right.
