JmOz
Steve, I was just told by Dan that Used simultanius is suppose to multiply the numeber of people in a UBO situation, I thought it was addition. Was I wrong? To illustrate: If the defender has the power: Armor 10/10, UBO x8, Simultanius use (+1.25) Would the power be usable by 9 people (including himself) or 16 people? Steve Long
By 16. Usable Simultaneously (+1/2) enables the use of the power by two people, the character and one other person. Each additional 1/4 Advantage doubles the total number of people: 4 people for +3/4, 8 people for +1, and so on. The USPD and FHG have numerous examples if you'd like to check out some write-ups using the Advantage. This raises the secondary issue of whether a character could give a Usable Simultaneously power to a group of people not including himself. As a default the answer is "no," but the GM could certainly allow that if he felt it were appropriate.
