Spideydave
Hello Steve, I am currently running a Danger International style game. One of my players has bought 2x combat skill levels with Firearms. He is buying them 3 points each. Because he says that they are for OCV only. 1) Is Firearms considered a large group? 2) Is it strictly "legal" what he is doing? Buying +1 OCV combat skill levels with a large group for 3 points? Thanks so much for spending time on my question. Dave
Steve Long
Re: Combat skill level w/firearms "Firearms" is definitely a Large Group for CSL purposes, so the CSLs would cost 5 Character Points apiece. The 3-point CSL would work for some subset of Firearms, such as the "All Pistols" used as an example on 6E1 71. If all a character wants is extra OCV with Firearms, he should simply buy +X OCV; Only Works With Firearms (you as GM set the value of that based on your campaign, but I'd guess -1/4 or -1/2). CSLs are more flexible than that; if someone just wants OCV, he can simply buy more OCV directly.
