Adinecia
Greetings Steve Long, I have a question which has been tugging at my brain for a while now. regarding the amount of CV in a campaign. Let's say I have a setting which is running on "Competent Normal" guidelines, CV is 2 - 6. (page 35 - volume 1) Just for clarification, Is the 6 max CV for this setting type counting possible maneuver bonus'? If not, is it then the point to let characters go over that max with the use of maneuvers? Kind Regards,
Steve Long
Re: Campaign CV vs Maneuvers That's entirely up to the GM. Some GMs like to be really strict about those guidelines, making them in effect hard and fast laws. In that case CV 6 would be the maximum regardless of how you get there (though of course the GM could choose to set the maximum at some other number if he prefers). Other GMs expect characters to usually be in the 2-6 range but would allow a PC to sometimes stray outside that boundary.
