matrix3
Just thoughts on a campaign setting for right now. I am building a campaign setting where it is as close to "real world" as possible, but where everybody has a small power of some sort, a knack or what have you. The lady down the street can coax green things to grow, the guy a block over can talk to dogs, little Cindy can float two inches off the ground, what have you. I've been thinking about the Alvin Maker books, where people often have a "knack" and the Xanth books (but those are magical in origin). Any other sources for the "everybody has some power" angle? esampson
Re: Everybody Has Powers! (source material request) Doh! How could I have forgotten? Bicycle Repairman On a more serious note, there are several different ones listed here (http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/EveryoneIsASuper). Although I've never read either of them you might try to try Top 10 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Top_10_(comics)) and Lanfeust (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lanfeust_of_Troy). bneumeier
Re: Everybody Has Powers! (source material request) In the Castle Perilous books, everyone who spends a while in Castle Perilous gains a talent of some sort. Not sure that will help you at all. Sketchpad
Re: Everybody Has Powers! (source material request) Check out Wild Cards Green Ronin has a game book of the universe for M&M, and SJGames did one for GURPS back in the day. Great setting and some wicked stories
matrix3
Re: Everybody Has Powers! (source material request) I thought about Wild Cards, and it is a great setting, but while there are a lot of powered folks running around (Aces, Deuces, and Jokers alike), the majority of people are still "Nats" and unpowered. Orion
Re: Everybody Has Powers! (source material request) Look for the Top 10 comic book series, by Americas best Comics/Wildstorm. Written by Alan Moore. It's just what you are describing - everyone has some type of powers. The story revolves around the officers in the 10th police precinct.
