Automata & Social Limitation

Can an Automaton (or other construct with no EGO) take Social Limitations? For example, if the law requires that all robots be built to be easily discernable as such, but one is built to look exactly Human (or Perseid, or Mon'dabi, or whatever), could that be a Harmful Secret Social Limitation on the Automaton's character sheet?
