JmOz Posted November 10, 2003 Report Share Posted November 10, 2003 Okay, this is what I am thinking for my next adventure, as a rough draft, I need help with the pacing and what have you Chapter 1 Heroes get involved: Okay not sure how to go abot this, but I figure it will involve either some headlines, or more likely a certain informant reveling a bamk heist Chapter 2: Viper is robbing a bank, but why? When the heroes invade the group is going to concentrate it fire on one player to capture him Chapter 3 Rescue the Hero: The Viper has the hero (Electric Powers) captured and in a bell shaped clear glass like base, a still form lies underneath a blanket, Mad Scientist/Viper Leader laughs histericaly as he pulls the switch. Electric Hero starts to have his powers drained, When the Heroes rescue him, the monster starts to rise Big fight ensures between the monster, Dr Death (The Nest Leader), A couple of Viper Tecks, and an 8 man squad that is there for security. Will he be able to contribute in the fight or his he/she gonna be forced to watch from the sidelines or maybe duke it out w/Viper techs & agents? Chapter 1 - How bout have a series of robberies at some high tech places &/or diamond exchanges(easily portable currentcy). Let the PC's try to track down the reason behind the robberies and get the info on the next robbery, which of course be the trap. Could put the informant's loyalty in question or perhaps Viper figured out he was the PC's informant and know his/her life is in danger. Ghost who Walks Posted November 11, 2003 Report Share Posted November 11, 2003 Perhaps the robbery could be at a location that has equipment Dr Death needs to animate the monster? Whenever possible, I prefer to have robberies occur where players have secret IDs...more fun that way. (Purely a coincidence, of course) I assume the teleporting villain is going to be used to get the hero away after he has been captured? If not, you are going to need a way for the robbers to escape. He is actually someone who is working for the person who hired Viper to do this, to make sure that there investment is safe...
