WF: Unarmed Combat follow-up

Sorry, I realize my original post wasn't clear. I meant to say that in 6E1 the asterisk is missing. I referenced the other 2 books because they both show the "it's free" notation. 

 

So my real question is: Is there supposed to be an asterisk denoting that WF:UC is free in the table in 6E1?
