Re: Online RPG character generator from Champions online? I checked the Cryptic forums and there is a LOT of interest from fans/players to have either an online or offline hero generator outside of the MMO game. It would not only allow MMO players to design their character outside the game (or at work away from their home gaming computer) but it would allow RPG players to make sweet images for their bad guys, NPCs, and for their players. I have my fingers crossed that it will happen.

Will HERO Games or Cryptic be coming out with Champions character generator using the technology from the Champions Online MMO? The hero customization in the MMO is fantastic but I would like to use it to make images for my RPG campaign and for my players outside the MMO. Even a stand alone offline/online software that is purchased would be cool. Let me know if there is any future in this?

Does HERO or any other 3rd party companies have preplanned adventures modules for a Champions campaign?

I want to get a city setting for my Champions campaign. I know HC is for dark champions but is it a good setting that can be modified for Champions. Does both settings come with city maps and location references? Inquiring GMs want to know.

In D&D there are challange ratings and encounter levels so can judge if your bad buy is more or less powerful then the PCs. Whats balanced for 4 250 point PCs? -20 50 point enemies (riot) -10 100 point enemies -4 250 point enemies -2 500 point enemies -1 1000 point enemy (Galactus) Does HERO / Champions have a system like that or is it just a judgement call for the GM?

I am stating our groups first venture into Champions. I am looking for whats best to get things started. Mainly if there are any website / books/ pointers for campaign settings. I see there is the Millinium City setting. Does that include a map or is it just places you put on your own map. If anyone has a website with theor groups campaign setting and house rules please let me know so I can reference it. From one GM to another. THANKS!!
