I am a little confused about how I am intended to impose our campaign's Active Point Limit on our Superheroic characters. Our limit is 80, as per the guidelines in the rulebook.
Here's my confusion: There is PD, ED, Mental D, Power D, Flash D, and even more unusual defences. Then there is Resistant Protection, which can be applied to all or any of these. Then on top of that, there is Damage Negation and Damage Reduction ond other "defensive powers".
1) So... what should I be combining for purpose of applying the AP Limit?
((And here are the Questions for the Bonus Round! In the Character Creation Guidelines, there are ranged listed for all the Characteristics, Defences, Damage Classes, etc...
2) When reviewing a character that has Absorption, do you look at the upper limit of absorbed ability when comparing to the guidelines, or do you ony look at the base values?
3) If the Guidlienes are for a 14 Damage Class Max, and a Character brings in a character with 15 STR and a 4D6 HKA, does the +3 DC for Str make the character in violation of the guidelines?
