IF a character to is spell got concentration disadvantage of 0dcv and cast this spell at segment 3 (the character got speed of 4: 3,6,9,12) is dcv gonna 0 till he get on is dex turn at phase 6 ? or the 0dcv taking end at the end of is phase at segment 3? hope i am clear englsih not my first language stef

  7. can you abort a action with a teleport ,(defense maneuvers)............is it legal? stef
  8. hey guys in my fantasy game a friend of mine play a kind of shaman half-orc and one of is spell is a teleport 20..................... now i know you can abort a phase for make a teleport when you are attacked............. but i want to know if you have to go in dex vs dex contest for who goes first? or the character just have to teleport himself and is ok hope i am clear english not my first language stef
  9. i build a magic system for my fantasy game and want your opinion on something...........the flavor i like in my world concept is: magic is a dangerous thing to use!! .............so in my system of magic the spell success is based on a characteristic roll and not a skill roll (the characteristic roll depend of your magic style ex: mental spell is a ego roll etc) so for every spells: a 10 active cost or a 200 active got the same roll ( no -1 per 10 active cost) most of the time is 11- , 12- , 13-, but the point is more the active cost is high great are the side effect if your misse your roll ...........in that way a 150 200 active cost spell can kill you (maybe) if you miss your roll.............what do you think is it to much excuse english not my first language stef
  10. ok in a heroic game a character got 6 base movement right? and a hex = 2 meters rights? my question is it is realistic in a phase who that suppose to be one seconde a character can run 24 meters..........let see you got a character with 6 base move and at is phase he decide to run for is life and use is full move of 12 with 0 ocv and 0 dcv at the end of is phase ( one second) he is at 12 hex away (for 24 meters).......hum it is possible ?? i mean in a heroic context? hope i am clear english not my first language stef

  15. when a character abort for block or dodge can he do something else in is abort phase? ex if my speed is 3 (4 , 8 , 12) and in phase 3 i abort my phase 4 for blocking a attact: block is a half-phase (attack action) but can i use my other half-phase to do something or can i make 0 phase action like put csl in dcv ............ex can i in phase 3 make a 0 phase action like put my csl in dcv , in a half phase make a per roll and my last half phase block the attack? hope i am clear english not my first language stef
  16. in a situation of stealth the movement of the character is reduced? how much is reduced? stef
  17. as a gm did you get this situation : one of your player try to make a steath skill in a combat situation? .......i mean is this possible to realise ? The situation is the character face a swashbuckler and at is turn (realise the swashbuckler is very good with a sword) he decide to retreat behind a house and perform a stealth ..........my problem is the swashbuckler in question never stop is Line of sight with the character so is this possible to realise a stealth in that situation.......... hope i am clear english not my first language stef
  18. ok if iv got csl with all hth (5 pts) let see iv got a +4 (20pts) and i got a flash attack ( flash powder no range-1/2) can i use my csl for my flash stef

A character die when he got the negative in body ( if iv got 10 body i die at -10) right? but a character with 0 body this character can continued the fight? ..............let see after a turn he got 12 stun and -3 body can he continued the fight? hope i am clear english not my first language stef
  20. Re: hit location If your roll is a 5 why do you again said the amount of stun are 50 ...........if you roll a 5 killing attack on the head is gonna be 25 stun not 50 ..................25 minus the defense stef

Re: hit location page 414 the goblin exemple i use for the present exmple: if i take your exemple you did 5 damage on the troll head (chain-mail of 5 and naturel pd of 5)..............for the stun we did 5 X5stun for 25 stun minus the defense for a total of 15 stun and for the body damage is 5 minus the chain-mail 5 for 0 x2body for 0 body damage no? stef hope i am clear
  23. Re: hit location FOR BODY in the book is said you have to minus the defenses before you multiplcated so if the enemy got a 3rpd and i hit with a 5 in the head i suppose to take my 5 minus the 3rpd for a 2 and after multiplied by 2 for a 4 body damage to the enemy no? stef

Re: hit location ok now if i punch another troll in the face with my 15 str (3d6n).......i roll a 3-3 and a 4 for 10 stun ok..............this troll got regid skin 1rpd and 8 of normal pd..........so my 10 stun minus 9 = 1 x2 nstun for the head ( a total of 2 stun) and 3 body minus 9 for 0 body damage right?.............my question is why in a killing attack i am not doing same calcul for stun damage ......take the total dice minus the defense and after multiplied by the stunx hope i am clear stef

Re: hit location ok let see : my character with is broad sword (1d6+1) attack and hit a troll head who got 5 chain mail rpd and got a pd of 8.............i roll a 5 so doing 6 right? now for the stun damage i make 6x5 for 30 stun minus 13 for 17 stun and 6 minus 5 x2bodyx for 2 body is that correct? stef
