ALICE QUEEN OF HEARTS (Eleckra homage) Christina Ketterling was born in a wealthy family, daughter of a British diplomat and Greek shipping heiress, she had a perfect privilaged childhood or so it seemed to the outside world. In fact her father was terribly abusive both physically and mentally to Christina and her mother. When Chrisitina was 17 her father murdered her mother when her mother attempted to protect Christina from his assaults. Finally having enough of her fathers evil abuse Christina killed him in a murderous rage and fled the country in an attempt to start a new life. After wandering the far east for many years Christina slowly became an expert in martial arts and even more so in all forms of far eastern bladed weapons such as Sai's and Katana's. At this point she first met the Protector Jaguar and the two had a brief romantic liason and he helped her with her training. Some time later Chrisitina emerged into the Freedom City underworld as the skilled assassin Alice Queen of Hearts working for rival mafia families and becomeing a foe of both Foreshadow and the Hornet. At this point it was revealed she had low level mesmerism powers over the the opposite sex and her and Foreshadow after many encounters became lovers instead of enemies but their relationship was always fraught with moral problems as time and time again Alice showed her ruthless killing streak. She now stands between the law and no one can predict which side she will next take and some say thats part of Alice's charm.

NIGHT OWL (Doctor Midnite homage) Doctor Charles Cross was a very prominent physician in Freedom City back in the 1930's. He was often called as a witness for criminal trials such was his expertise and time and time again he was called against Freedom Cities seven mafia families as a witness. Eventually the godfathers of the mob decided to teach him a lesson and remove this little thorn in their side and they arranged for a bomb to off at his surgery. Amazingly the bomb did not kill Cross but he took terrible damage and was hospitalised for months and the most terrible effect was he was permently blinded by the blast. However after he returned home from hospital he found his sight slighty returning but only strangely at night or in the dark. Slowly this became the case and his vision fully returned but only in darkness. Deciding he must both revenge himself on the mob and also that the people of Freedom City needed protection from their evil he decided to go to friends he had gained as a doctor to help train himself to become a crime fighter. He gained help from the Pugilist to train him in combat technique and acrobatics and from Dr Tomorrow he gained devices such as special lenses allowing him to see during the day and special Darkness pellets which he could use to blackout an area putting him at an advantage. Feeling ready now he fashioned a costume and called himself the Night Owl and acted as a one man army against the mob and also the resident doctor to the superhuman community. He was invited to join the Liberty League with his friends which he duly did and gave long service to the team. When much of the team disappeared into the time stream he was saved by his friend Dr Tomorrow and instead his aging was vastly retarded giving him a very long life span. Deciding to carry on as a crime fighter he became along with the Pugilist a mentor to the Raven and his brood of crime fighters such as the Kestrel. He has been instrumental in trainign the super heroes of the new generation and when his team mates recently returned from the time stream he was a leading figure in the reformation. Recently his long standing sidekick Peter McNider was seemingly permantley transformed into a snowy owl in a case with the Canadian Guard. Charles has continued to look after McNider in this form as he retains his intelligence and has vowed to cure him. In the mean time "Petey" as he has become known on the team has aided Cross on his missions.

Suggestions? Ok, I wil lcontinue to flesh out the Liberty League's history, but after that im open to suggestions. Who or what do you want to see covered in more detail? let me know.

JACK B QUICK (Flash 1 homage) Jack or "Jay" Wade as he was known was both the first famous mutant superhero of the Golden age and the father of a famlly of mutant speedsters that have become famous over the last 70 odd years. Jack's speedster powers first manifested when he was a young pilot in the US airforce back in the mid 1930's. becoming an overnight sensation in America he fashioned a costume and was dubbed Jack B Quick the fastest man alive. He quickly become with other new heroes of the period legendary mythic figures to a public crying out for ideals to look up to in those troubled pre war days. He soon started teaming up with Meteor Man and others and the fledgling heroes soon created the Liberty League to combat threats none could deal with alone. During the war years Jack B Quick served in the league as one of its corner stones of the team over serving as chairman and one of its most powerful members as his mastery over his speed powers grew and grew. Jack was one of the members drawn into the time stream for many years but with his team mates recently reemerged still youthful and vital and found that he had sired a whole family of speedster heroes. becoming the head of this family with experianced ease he often helps the young heroes with advice and conselling regarding their powers or their lives as crime fighters and he was also the energetic driving force behind reforming the Liberty League which has become such a great success. Although he may no longer be the fastest mine alive he has barely even begun to slow down!

THE BEACON (Green Lantern 1 homage) Alan Allbright was a wealthy radio exectutive in the late 1930's when he was chosen by the powerful mysticalartefact the Meteor Ring to become its owner, guardian and champion. The intelligent ring which had been thought lost for decades had chosen well, Allbright had great mystical potential within him and was also a very good heroic man exactly what the white light power of the meteor ring needed. Once Alan put on the ring he was transformed into the first Meteor Man a powerful mystical guardian who was able to use the white light of his ring to form powerful shapes and objects from his imagination. The ring spoke to him and taught him how to use and harness its power and Meteor Man became one of the most powerful supers of his day. Alan soon became a founding memeber of the Liberty League and often served as its chairman during the war. He served with distinction until he was one of the members spirited away into the time stream thoguht lost forever. In his absence his two children struggled to grow up and deal with their own powers they had inherited from their father. When he vanished the Meteor Ring remained in this time epoch and chose another guardian for its power. So when he returned Allbright was both surprised and delighted that he still held the power of the ring but without needing its physical presence. He had somehow internalised its power due to his long guardianship. Deciding to resurrect his career as a hero he decided to call himself the Beacon as now white mystical light poured out of his body when he used his powers. He rejoined the newly formed Liberty League and has also recently joined the Circle to advise younger heroes on mystical matters. His relationship with his children however could be called strained at best he has again and again attempted to reestablish contact with very mixed results.

TOM THUMB (Atom I & II homage) Tom Palmer back in the late 1930's was a top research scientist working on his lifes work developing a shrinking ray, tragically though his notes and work were stolen and himself kidnapped by the evil Dr Diablo who decided to use Tom as the first guinea pig in his fiendish expirement of Tom's work. The Ray worked only two well and as Diablo cruelly shrank Tom to a smaller and smaller size something unexpected and unique happened. Tom as he shrank also gianed mass and strength making him a pocket dynamo and as he shrank to a smaller and smaller size Tom learned that if he shrank himself enough to could go to sub atomic size and actually teleport his body to another place! Quickly realising his new fund powers Tom quickly overcame Diablo and decided to fashion himself a costume and help the allied war effort as the diminuitive hero Tom Thumb! Quickly joining the Liberty League he served with distinction throughout the war years and was one of the lucky members not trapped in the time stream after the war. Instead he became both a long term member of the Freedom League serving with them for many years and also acting as a mentor to the new shrinking hero Micromax when he continued to make strides in Tom's original scientific work of size changing. Tom is known as the scientific problem solver bar none in the Superhero Community and has many friends and contacts with such groups as the Atom Family and the sentinels as well as the Freedom League and has struck up a sort of ongoing partnership with Freedom Eagle over the years. Recently with the return of his team mates of the Liberty League from the time stream Tom has taken a leave of absence from the Freedom League to rejoin his old comrades to help them restablish the Liberty League in the new century.

GLADIATOR (Thundra homage) The super strong red haired seven foot tall woman known only as Gladiator hails from the 27th century of an alternate earth where women have become dominant in every way over the males of the species. Finding herself the unbeaten champion of her world in hand to hand combat she decide's to seek out new challenges and after growing up on the exploits of the historical hero group from the 20th and21st century the Atom Family she decides to travel back in time using the advanced technology of the time to battle and defeat the famous hero the Monster. After being in fact defeated by him in single combat despite her great strength and combat prowess, she is seduced by Professor Fathom into joining Factor Four to wreak revenge on the Monster. Despite being a part of the group ever since Gladiator is not really evil, she is motivated by the challenge of defeating the Monster in combat and by an ever growing attraction towards him.

BINDER (Trapster homage) Peter Whiticker was a top reasearch chemist for UNTIL, specialising in adhesives. One day he suffered a horrific accident in the lab while working on his new adhesive. The accident left his face covered in the super strong glue and the adhesive proved so strong mixed with the heat of the explosion left his face permenently damaged and changed. Finding himself now bitter and seeking revenge after the accident Peter decided to gain revenge on UNTIL and decided build himself a gun that would be able to deliver his powerful adhesive as a weapon. Calling himself Binder he went on a camapign of destruction against UNTIL until he was stopped and captured by the Atom Family's Blaze. Finding himself in prison for the first time Whiticker vowed revenge on Blaze and was easily persuaded when Professor Fathom offered him membership in Factor Four. Since then Binder has been an ever present member in Factor Four's schemes of villainy against the Atom Family. He has become an expert with his glue gun so much so that he can now use it for many different effects with his Adhesive which he is deadly accurate with.

GRANITE (Sandman homage) Billy Baker was a low level thug and associate of Freedom City's five Mafia families until he was volunteered for a wild scheme to make him super strong muscle for the crime families. Baker was one of the first individuals to be given the "Power House" treatment. In his case it went terribly wrong. He was indeed given great strength and resistance to injury but was also turned into a rocky monstrosity with the power to control rock and sand. Baker went on a ramapge and the press soon dubbed him Granite before he was defeated and captured by the young hero Hornet. Baker slowly learned how to control his powers and repeatedly clashed and lost to the Hornet the young hero earnign his hatred. He also soon joined forces with Professor Fathom and became a founding and long term member of Factor Four who have been such a thorn in the side of the Atom Family. He has also teamed up with other foes of the Hornet forming the Secret Seven to eventually defeat him but without much success. Granite has been one of the most active villains in the US more recently joining both Squad X and the Redeemed before always returing to his evil team mates in Factor Four and to bedevil the Hornet again.

PROFESSOR FATHOM (Wizard homage) Bentley Fathom was one of the worlds most famous scientirsts and inventors. In his field of electronics and the study of water he was and remains a genius. However as his fame grew so did his jealousy of Amazing Man. Dr Atom was always more respected and more famous than he and he hated him for it. Two events tipped Fathom over the edge, firstly Atom was given the nobel prize for science and Fathom was not even considered worthy of a place on the short list! Secondly Atom was transformed into Amazing Man in the same accident that gave the rest of the Atom Family their powers. This gave Atom even more fmae and adulation and Fathom decided he could no longer stand idly by and instead plooted to bring his rival low. Putting his scientific expertise to bear he created himself various gadgets and items based on the control and power of water. Calling himself Professor Fathom and incoprating these powers into a powerful lightweight battlesuit which also gave him protection and the ability to fly, Fathom set about putting together an evil counterpart to the Atom Family. Calling them Factor Four the team has been one of the Atom Families most deadly foes and Fathom and his team have caused Amazing Man and his family much grief and trouble over the years.

OGRE (Mammoth homage) Jack Stevens was born with his sister a mutant with great natural strength and toughness. As he grew older he also increased in size and mass until he was a mammoth individual. His intelligence remained normal at first but as his strength grew his intellect decreased until presently he is little more advanced than a 7 or 8 year old. He first joined the Scions of Caine but was then recruited to the Frightful Five where he has remained ever since totally loyal to both his sister and Menton who has been secretly mentally controlling him. He has also repetedly clashed with Grond over the years and the two have now quite a deep emnity for each other.

CHARADE (Shimmer homage) Seline Stevens and her brother Jack grew up in Virginia not knowing they were both mutants until Mastermind the mutant villain came to them and revealed their powers. Seline had the unique ability to transform elements from one to another while Jack was developing great super strength. Mastermind persuaded them that they were in danger from nomral humanity and they joined his group the Scions of Caine. Thye served with Mastermind for some time coming up against such foes as the Protectors until Menton decided he wished to add tehm to his own group of Villains the Frightful Five. Mentally dominating the siblings into rebeling against Mastermind he spirited them away forever earning the emnity of the mutant arch villain. Menton then continued to dominate them with his mental powers as he does to this day ensuring two completley loyal members as they clash with his hated foes the Next-Gen.

MENTON (Psimon homage) Simon Medina was one of Dr Destroyers cheif scientist's before Destroyer decided to make him the subject of one of his research expirements into mental powers. Simon was forced to endure months of painful expirements before the good doctor was satisfied with the results. At the end of this mental torture Simon Medina no longer existed instead in his palce was a being of supreme mental powers, able to challenge the most powerul psychic mutants such as Professor Psion. Now vastly intelligent as well as having powerful psychic powers of the mind Menton as he now called himself broke free of Destroyer's control and decided to put his own team of super villains together. Coming across Dr Macabre he mentally menipulated the villain to beleivng this was his idea and helped Macabre put together the Frightful Five. After many defeats against the Next-Gen Menton decided he would openly take control of leadership of the team and since then the team has been a much more ruthless opponent and Menton himself has become known for his evil methods which has included killing opponents with his powerful brain blasts. On at least two occassions his physical body has persihed but he has transferred his mental essence into another host body. His hatred of Destroyer is only exceeded by his hatred of the Next-Gen and he wil lstop at nothing to defeat the young heroes as leader of the Frightful Five.

DWARFSTAR (Gizmo homage) William Perez was born a dwarf. He hated his appearance and small stature and vowed he would get even with all those that mocked or underestimated him. He was also born with a great intellect and had a genius for invention and electronics. He started his own company Gizmo's Inc. to sell small electronic appliances of many weird varieties and made himself a small fortune. But it was never enough he demanded more respect more power and when Doctor Macabre put together the villain team the Frightful Five Perez quickly applied and showing them his amazing gadgets that he could use to deadly effect in combat he was quickly accepted. Perez was served the team as Dwarfstar ever since and is the teams resident scientist and gadgeteer he has fought the team the Next-Gen on many occassions and hates them for their popular good looks and youth. Despite his advancing age and diminutive stature Dwarfstar is both a deadly and ruthless opponent.

Doctor Macabre (Doctor Light homage) Arthur Lund was a sickly researcher in the Hunter Museum in Freedom City. He was disgruntled and unfulfilled unti lhe came across ancient texts talking about a strange item from Scandanavia called the Janus Key. Lund went in search of the artefact and found it after years of searching and found it was a magical artefact of great power allowing the user after he became skilled in its use to control and manipulate the light spectrum. Calling himself Doctor Macabre due to the sinister light the Janus Key radiated he soon became drunk with his newly found power and went on the ramapge only to be captured and defeated by Meteor Man. After being defeated by his nemesis numberous times Lund decided to put together a team of like minded criminals so was born the Frightful Five who soon became possibly the Next Gens greatest enemies. Lund soon had the leadership ripped away from him in the group by the far more intelligent and powerful Menton and despite hating him for it he has served as a very capable second in command ever since. He recently also joined a newly formed grouping of the Crime League to get back at his hated foe Meteor Man.

JOHNNY ROCKET (Flash homage) The first Johnny Rocket was Allen Wade the nephew of the legendary Liberty League member Jack B Quick. His mutant speedster powers manifested quite late in life when he had already become a police officer for the Freedom city police department. Allen soon became a well respected and loved hero within the community and had a deep and lasting partnership with Meteor Man 2 and also was one of the founding members of the Freedom League. Soon his nephew also joined him in his fight against crime as his kid sidekick Kid Rocket. Allen continued to be a prominent hero until the events of the Secret Crisis where to save the universe Allen merged with the Speed Zone his physical body being ripped apart by the speed forces no one could control. His family and friends and in fact teh whole world grieved to him and young Johnny took on his mantle as the new Johnny Rocket but in fact Allen's soul had not died he had in fact become one with the Speed Zone which is a mystical dimension which in fact in some way gives all speedsters their powers. Allen had become the guardian and defender of the Speed Zone and was able to communicate and guide speedsters from within it. His astral form soon appeared to young Johnny when he was in great danger and since then Johnny has learned that his uncle will be there for him especially when he enters the extrem dangers of the Speed Zone.

JOHNNY ROCKET 2 (Flash homage) The famous superhero known as the fastest man alive was born the grandson of Jack B Quick of the Liberty League and the Nephew of the first Johnny Rocket. Johnny Wade is a mutant in a family line of speedsters which seems very prominent in the homage universe. His speed manifested very early even for a mutant and after insisting he follow his uncle into combat he made himself a costume and he was dubbed Kid Rocket by the press. Quickly establishing himself with the public he became very popular and as well as being his uncle's sidekick he also became a founder member of the Next Gen. After the Secret Crisis in which one of the consequences of that event was the discovery of the Speed Zone. young Johnny took on the mantle of Johnny Rocket when his uncle decided to become the guardian of the Speed Zone and was drawn into it forever. After this Johnny had much trouble with his powers as with his uncles help from afar he tried to become Earth's master of the Speed Zone. To help him control his mutant powers he turned to Professor Psion and the Protectors for a time but he clashed to many times with Jaguar and their sometimes us against the world philiposhy and when he was asked to take his uncles place in the Freedom League he readily agreed. Taking his rightful place amoung maybe the most powerful and respected team in the world changed Johnny and in recent years as his mastery of the speed force is no longer questioned he has become without doubt the most powerful speedster on the planet with his powers becoming ever more diverse and amazing. With the return of his grandfather from the time stream and his uncles cosntant teachings from the speed zone and the fact that younger memebers of his family have themselves found their speedster powers Johnny has gathered a family of speedsters to help him against the ever growing rogues gallery he inherited from his uncle and grandfather. He currently maintains a position in both the Freedom League and the Next Gen with ease after all he is the fastest man on the planet!

DOCTOR METROPOLIS (Phantom Stranger homage) The origin of the being who just calls himself Metropolis is unknown. many have made guesses but no one knows the truth to the best of our knowledge. He appeared in Freedom City after an invasion from the Terminus had almost destroyed the city. He declared publicly he was the cities mystical guardian and set about rebuilding the city from scratch using his almost unlimited mystical might. Dspite being an obvious force for good Metropolis has often been accused of being very mysterious in his motives and manipulating allies into what he wants them to do. He has aided the Freedom League on many cases and was awarded membership by the team in recognition of this although he has rarely taken up the offer. He is also a major player within the Circle but has often clashed with others such as Eldrich, Lantern Jack and Dr Twilight regarding methods and information. His powers are a source of wonder as he often seems to have almost unlimited mystical might to even surpass such mages as Eldrich then on other occassions he has seemed very limited in his powers. Like everything else about this figure it is cloaked in mystery and strange questions, only one thing is certain when Doctor Metropolis appears to you something very important is about to take place!

DAEDALUS (Iron Man homage) Daedalus is in fact the historical figure from anceint texts who with his son Ikarus decided to fly using the wings of his own invention. After his sons tragic death the Greek gods granted him immortality as a compensation for his loss and charged him with ensuring mankinds progress towards enlightenment and civilisation. Throughout the centuries Daedelus has helped mankind along with his many inventions although they have often been attributed to others. After world war one and with the rise of the Nazi's in Europe, he saw that in fact he could stand along the sidelines no longer and decided to be actively involved in shaping humanities destiny. Using his amazing sceintific and technical skill he fashioned a mechanical marvel a suit of armour that was electronically powered and gave him many wonderous abilities such as being able to fly, greatly increasing his strength and being able to shoot potent blasts of energy. He soon joined the Liberty League and fought for the allies in Greece and over the whole of europe throughout the war. He was not one of the Liberty League drawn into the time stream at the end of the way and intead spent the next two decades protecting humanity in a different way. He set up a company Ikaras Inc. to control and distribute technology of all kinds especially the dangerous military technology that Daedalus saw needed controlling more than any other. In the decades since his company has become a world leader and with him secretly at its head he strove to protect humanity from warefare and disease. However with the expolsion of superhumans in the modern age Daedalus decided to fly the skies again as a superhuman with an ever improved and powerful suit of armor which he never tires of tinkering with. He became a founding memeber of the newly formed Sentinels and with the Patriot and Ragnarok has fomred the heart of the team ever since, all three mens immortality giving them a common understanding and deep persoanl friendship. In recent years after his company had been attacked by various supervillain foes Dadalus decided to join the Galaxy Legion in a new space ship of his own design which of course he called the Ikarus. Now he divides his time between the Sentinels, his company and the Galaxy Legion life for Daedalus has become even more intresting in the 21st century.

THE MASTER (Ancient One homage) The Master was earth's master mage for many years before Eldrich. He was a mysterious Japanese sorceror of unknown age who aided the Liberty League during the war. He was cast out from Japan and came to live in Shamballa Vale near the Tibetan mountains and due to his great age took to looking for a successor who could carry on his legacy. After being disapointed many times with such individuals as the Baron he eventually found Adrian Eldrich and slowly passed on all his skill and magical knowledge to enable Eldrich to become the new master mage. In recent years despite his great age he has helepd greatley in forming the circle and after Tyrannon's last attempt at conquest he sacrificed his physical body so now he only exists on the astral plane to other members of the Circle where he is still a formidible opponent.

ELDRICH (Doctor Strange homage) Adrian Eldrich was born into a prominent wealthy Freedom City family and lived an empty live of excess and wealth until he could stand it no more. Searching for something more than his hollow materialistic existence he gained an intret in the mystical and the occult and started to travel widely in search of this new knowledge. He eventually learned of the Master a legendary magician and supposedly earths master mage. He tracked him down over two years and once they had eventually met the Master saw in Eldrich a huge mystical potential and immediatley convinced Eldrich to become his apprentice in all matters magical. Eldrich studied with the Master for many years becoming ever more powerful and easily becoming his greatest apprentice and heir apparent to the masters title. This earned him the hatred of his great rival the Baron and when the master decided to retire and leave only his astral body on this plane of exsistence Eldrich did indeed become earth's master mage. Since then Eldrich has been earrths primary mystical guardian from such foes as the Baron, Tyrannon the Conquerer, Hades, Medea, Una, the Kings of Edom, Morpheus, Dracula and Takofanes. Eldrich is also the defacto leader of two seperate groups, The Circle an ancient gathering of mystical heroes and the Outsiders a group of superhumans who Eldrich gathers around him to combat threats so strange and weird that no others can fight them. This has given Eldrich a rich seam of friends and contacts within the superhuman world and he is one of the most respected and powerful heroes of the current time.

DRAGONFLY (Lizard/Fly homage) Dr Curtis Conway is a famous proffessor at the Freedom City university, an esteemed scientist in his speciality of insects, he was on the cutting edge of research and wanted to prove various wild theories. After his funding was drastically cut he decided the only way to prove himself right was to try his theories out on himself. He injected himself with his advanced insect serum and the results were spectacular although not what he envisioned. Since that day at times of extreme stress he has been transformed into a horrible insect fly like monster that the press have dubbed the Dragonfly. After this transformation he becomes a murderous monster on the rampage killing innocent people for food and attempting to control the university. These rampages last for days at a time before he eventually transfoms again and regains his body. While transformed he becomes a human/fly hybrid with enhanced strength the ability to fly, to shoot out stinging blasts and to secrete a terrible acidic like substance which breaks down whoever is unlucky enough to be his next meal. Dragonfly was instrumental in the origin of the teen hero Hornet and the hero has become his greatest nemesis bringing him to justice many times and earning his deep hatred. Conway himself has no memory of the acts the Dragonfly commits and has become both terribly depressed and obsessed with finding himself a cure.

THE HORNET (Spider-Man homage) David Ditko was an everyday teenage student at the Freedom city univesity. A science major he was very bright but socially inept, and not exactly popular with the ladies he was intrested in on campus. He was attending one of the lectures of proffessor Curtis Conway on insects who was secretly the monstrous supervillain Dragonfly. when something went terribly wrong. While he was conducting an expirement on DNA of the common Hornet Conway was again taken over by his evil Dragonfly persona and the usual terrible transformation took place. Once Dragonfly had taken over his body he started to attack the students with his electrical "Stings" and explosions started to take place. David was caught in one of the blasts and badly hurt. He regained his senses in the hospital days later and soon discovered he had strange new powers! somehow the Hornet's DNA had merged with his own making him super strong and tough very, very fast and agile and giving him greatly enhanced senses. Most strange of all he now had the ability to fly and could produce his own strange stinging or venemous blasts of energy. David felt he had to bring Dragonfly to justice and fashioned himself a costume and went out and captured Dragonfly. The press immediatley dubbed him the Hornet and a new teenage hero in Freedom city was born. Since then David has become one of the most famous heroes in the world but he is not always popular with Freedom City citizens as he is sometimes seen as a freak and menace after some media witch hunts against him. David has always remained a solo hero and has over the years gained himself a formidable rogues gallery of some of the deadliest super villains, he has declined invitations to join both the Next Gen and the Sentinels and has recently begain a dangerous romance with the criminal burgler Alley Cat which has brought him into conflict with the Raven.

JACK FROST (Iceman homage) Jack Drake was born a mutant with the amazing ability to transform his body to ice and to control and project cold, ice and snow. Due to this powerful ability he was one of the first mutants that Professor Psion went in search for to form his team the Protectors. Jack accepted membership despite being the youngest original member and apart from a few short leaves of absences has been a cornerstone of the team ever since. Jack has had quite a few failed romances over the years with female members of the team partly because of his age but mainly due to the erratic nature of his powers. He has often been trapped in his ice form and this has effected him deeply. He was recently captured and expiremented on by the Warlord who has seemingly untapped some inner potential making Jack Frost one of the most powerful Protectors.
