    I disagree that 2GM is worthless. In fact, since Assault Rifle has a cooldown, chaining together 2GM and AR makes for a non-stop rain of high DPS. Get them both up to Rank 3 and have Killer Instinct and so on, and a high EGO, and you can just keep doing this and doing this as your frequent crits keep replenishing your energy. :D

     

    I have one 40 Muni toon and another that's like 18 IIRC. It's a way fun power set!

     

     

    I agree with this assessment. Hoot N Shoot is my munitions guy. He has 2GM. I have the advantage that does more damage the closer you are to the target. I like it.

    Ok. I saw the spawn points Steve detailed in his earlier post. I thought there was something different I may have missed.

     

    I would love to be in the development meetings fr this event. 90 minute reset timers. I think someone brought in special brownies that day.

     

    30 minutes is too long, IMO. 10 minutes or less would keep me in the area.

    The timers are supposed to be lowered to 30 minutes after maintenance today.

    I think if you use crime computer 2.0 you may find out you missed some missions. I did not run out of missions until about level 37. I never truly ran out but I didn't want to do missions 2 or 3 levels higher than me. I used crime computer 2.0 and found outi missed an entire section in Canada. Crime Computer 2.0 took me, along with some repeatable missions on MI to level 38. For the next two levels I enjoyed equal level missions until my main reached level 40.

    Monster Island:

    The Vipers Nest lvl 38

    Access VIPER Serpentine Network lvl 38

     

    The access VIPER serpentine network mission is a location mission inside the site of the The VIPERS Nest. As far as I can tell, we can clear The VIPERS Nest before attempting Access VIPER Serpentine Network. Access VIPER Serpentine Network is a timed mission that gives you 10 minute to find and access the network.

    I started doing Militiaman's missed missions yesterday. I am almost caught up to MM's level. It was nice to have this website. I missed a whole section in Canada. I was able to supplement XP with three Nemesis Missions because my Nemsis' minions showed up several times while doing these missed missions.

     

    It seems I need to do DD again so MM can get credit for Foxbat. Anyone up for it? It is supposed to be easy to do if you don't talk to Foxbat until you defeat DD.

    I will level from 37 to 38 by doing the missed missions. While doing these missions there were several times that my nemesis minions showed up and dropped me a nemesis clue. I supplemented the missed missions XP with three level 37 nemesis missions.

     

    This is fantastic. I have found the website shows I have not completed certain missions but the mission giver won't give it to me. THere is one from Kinetic like this but I am sure I did that mission.

     

    I think the guy that created the website will get a PayPal donation from me soon.

    To "fix" TP all they have to do is allow the teleporter to be targeted. I believe once the TPer press the button targeting is dropped.

     

    I am wondering if Tunneling has the same issue?

    This would imply no one can ever be put down by a killing attack without being dead (note that "below 0 BOD" does not mean "unconscious"). I find that lacking in true realism, dramatic realism and playability, so I would not apply that approach.

     

    This answers the question I asked earlier which is what I wanted when I posted it. It is the best answer I have seen to it. I think I am ok with the 6E stun multiier but until I can actually play it I won't know for sure.

    I think you need some degree of 'realism' with killing attacks in regard to stun: something that cuts you badly' date=' or burns you, will hurt, and whilst Stun is not a perfect match for 'hurt' it is close enough. Given that most characters will have 2x-4x as much stun as Body, I think you need a batter way of simulating how much KAs hurt than 1 Body through defences = 1 Stun.[/quote']

    So, interested to know how people are finding the new, improved, 6e version of killing attacks with the reduced stun multiplier: has it changed the role of the power in your games? Is it still being used as a main attack at all, or has it been relegated to a MP slot? Is it still too early to tell?

     

    I have not started a 6e game yet so I'm not sure how it will pan out, but I'm interested to know how it is working out for when I do.

     

    I brought this up in another thread. I haven't read this entire thread yet so I don't know if someone else brought it up.

     

    QUESTION: Why not remove the stun die all together from KA?

     

    For every 1 BODY that gets through defenses does 1 STUN. This ensures there is no stun lottery (which the d3 was supposed to reduce).

    I'm ok with PVP BUT PvP should not force balancing issues in PVE. What I am saying is, Cryptic needs to come up with a better system than nerfing powers that work perfectly fine in PVE because there are issues in PVP with the power. Blizzard was/is notorious for this behavior.

     

    Why can't they do something like this:

     

    Power A

    Flavor Text

    PVE: Power A has this effect.

    PVP: Power A has a slightly different effect.

    Just so we are clear. I never said I did not want to see another player. I am willing to team up with people. I just don't want to be forced to do it in order to progress.

     

    I ask in the Hero games chat channel and in the Legion of Heroes SG if people need help, or if they want to team up. I am selective in who I want to team up with since I have been in groups where people have been jack asses.

    I was a beta tester for CoH and I played it for the first two years it was out (off and on). There were a couple of things that turned me off of CoH but the main thing was the soloability of missions and just traveling through certain areas was LOW, IMO. It seemed you were required to team up to progress.

     

    I played WoW two months after it became live. I stayed with it for 4 years or so (left right before Wrath came out). I could quest when I wanted to without help OR I could team up with others when *I* wanted to instead of having some developer force me to do it in order to progress.

     

    I hope CO will have some more five man instances but I don't want to be forced to group up if *I* don't want to.

     

    Now, having said that I tend to offer to team up in the tutorial with ppl instead of forcing them to wait for the respawn. I tend to ask if ppl want to team up in other zones.

     

    I have not participated in WoW raids nor have I done scheduled instances for a Guild. I was in a very laid back guild and a few of us did gather semi-regularly to run instances but I never felt it was a 2nd job. I know a husband and wife friend of mine who got burnt out playing WoW because they running instances every night of the week and it became a 2nd job for them. IF a game ever feels like a 2nd job then either a. I quit play it or b. I am going to get paid to do it.
