you only need half as much d6's in Drain COM to get the same amount of effect than you do for a Drain STR.

Re: Concerns about Champs Supplements
$17 for an adventure module is way too pricey, IMO.

I like it too. It reminds me of my childhood when BotP was on. How about giving him a robot sidekick, 7-Zark-7 (I think that was its name)?

UMA = Expanded martial arts rules and how to build martial arts powers.
NH = Campaign setting for Martial Artists
I recommend getting UMA first then Ninja Hero. Both books are good.

This is somewhat Champions related.
Does anyone know where I can find extra copies of C:NM (1st and 2nd edition), Alliances and Bay City?
Thanks.

Heros & Villains
I was wondering if there are stats for many of the heros and villains used as examples in USPD? I have everything that is currently available from HG. There are some cool names and pictures in the USPD. I haven't had a chance to cross reference those names with stats from Champions, Champions Universe, Millennium City, and Conquerors, Killers and Crooks, but I was curious if there were stats already printed or will be printed in future products.

Steve,
As one of the original Calculator Commando's I could have done that if I would have made my EGO roll to overcome my Disadvantage: Lazy (Frequent, Strong).
This product is great! I can't wait to see the UNTIL Super Powers Database webpage. When I saw the layout of the book, I thought it reminded me of the WEG book put out for the DC Universe game. Then I got all warm and fuzzy inside when I saw the dedications page and Nikki's name was there.
Good Job, HG!

There's no errata yet because no one's reported any -- until now. The answer to your question, Rayoman, is that it should be 8 STR. When in doubt, just run the math yourself real quick and that'll tell you which one is correct.

I picked my copy of USPD on Friday. I have read a little, but so far I LOVE this product. This product was a long, long time coming. I plan on running a Champions game as soon as my group wraps up our DnD 3rd edition version of the old G-series modules. The USPD will make this transition easier because only 1 of the players has any familiarity with Champions and the Hero System.
Thanks for such a wonderful product. Btw, is there errata for it? The Mist Control Power has a discrepancy with how much TK Str the power supplies. The "EFFECT" heading lists the Tk STR at 24. The game stats list an 8 TK STR. which is it?

Fuzion is a good system. The superpower plugin would not allow you to create almost any power you wanted because there were some powers that didn't exist in Fuzion. Duplication and Multiform are some. Also hte vehicle plug-in in the 1st edition of C:NM was not very good either.
Personally, I like Fuzion and I like C:NM. I wish HG was still selling them because I would buy multiple copies of all three books. I wonder if RTal has them for sell on their site?
Originally posted by Insaniac99Personnally i don't get what all this Anti-fuzion is about, i it seems like a decent system if you care about that but even better it converts sooooo easily to hero it looks like (from what i can tell looking at this you bassically Multiply by 5....

Someone wrote: "If I were to do something like this in Hero, then I would change CV to (2*DEX + INT)/3. Base SPD would be (DEX + INT + 1)/10"
So Nighthawk would have, by your calculations, a CV = (2*25 + 23)/3 = 24 ? That is a little excessive since his actual CV is 8.
did I do something wrong?

The same player who played the Cyborg Pirate in the post above created a character for a Highlander campaign using the WEG star wars rules. He hadn't given him a name so we warned him that if he begins play without a name then we, the players, will give him a name and it won't be flattering. So the player names himself Stranger. He was trying to be cool and mysterious then the players started "roleplaying"
"Howdy, Stranger."
"Your hair is red? You are the Red Headed Stranger."
"The Lone Stranger!"
"Hey, Stranger, long time no see." - This quote was used everytime another character walked into the same scene as Stranger.
there were many more...some funny...some not, but we laughed our butts off.

Cat, it looks like we both posted a Star Wars rpg story. Anyway, I like your quote. How about putting your brother's name or just his rank and last name in the quote. I would love to use that sig on my emails.
Thanks,
Ray

In a WEG Star Wars game the rebel group was trying to sneak into a secret Imperial base. The group just landed at the starport and the Cyborg Pirate walks up to the nearest cab driver and says, "Take me to the secret Imperial base."

A player designed a character that had a similar set of powers for an old campaign except he was totally resilent with respect to Kinetic Energy. He was a mutant and called himself Wild Core or Wildcore.
Use it if you like it.

Well, I am hoping my bid holds for another few days. I started Champions with 3rd edition and had Champions I, II and III in the past, but when I failed to find players or interest long ago I sold it all. I couldn't pass the bid up on some old stuff from my favorite system.

I played DnD with a group of people when I was stationed in Iceland. We were all military of some sort (mainly, Navy and Airforce). We had this big room that we could all spread out in. 1 to 2 people per table and the DM stood at a bar that was high enough to hide all his information and wide enough to hold all of his stuff. We would start playing as soon as the DM got off work and ate dinner on a Friday. We stopped Sunday afternoon. This would be non-stop or only stop to take short breaks. If you feel asleep then your guy became the official party door opener and chest opener. It sometimes sucked when the player woke back up to find his guy dead. :-) However, everyone knew the pitfalls of falling asleep.
Originally posted by Derek HiemforthYeah, we've got two "sleepers" in our current group, and I played for years with another.

And here I was being good by avoiding something similar to Yamo.

In an urban or Dark Champions campaign I would rather have these in reverse.
