  1. Re: The cranky thread i am tired of being sick. I wish all the sniveling brats-- I mean dear little children, of course-- at my son's school would keep their germs to themselves...
  2. Re: The cranky thread You must spread some Reputation around before giving it to Hawksmoor again.
  3. Re: The cranky thread heh.... can't rep you EITHER. and i am ALWAYS a good girl. Really.
  4. Re: The cranky thread i can't rep you either... *blows zornwil little rep kisses
  5. Re: The cranky thread Yayy to you for finishing the project Zornwil!
  6. Re: The cranky thread Stupid, irresponsible, frustrating, aggravating fool of an ex-husband! God I am glad I'm not married to him anymore. Now if he'd just stay the heck out of my affairs.... (I have a cell phone account I got while we were together. For matters of convenience, I let him use one of the phones, since I was under contract for 2 phones anyway. He pays me part of the bill each month. The bill and contract are in my name only (cause no one would give him a cell phone contract). Contract was due to expire this month, which is what I planned, and I expected to disentangle from him and this cell phone company at this time. That FOOL went down there and got himself a new phone (free, under some promotion) this past february and signed SOMETHING that caused MY contract to be re-upped (in MY NAME!) for the next 2 years!!!!) STUPID ROTTEN FOOL!!
  7. Re: The cranky thread Brand new job, brand new state - brand new region of the country. High stakes - my son's father moved there (Vermont) a couple weeks ago for a new job for him, and we've promised to follow - but jobs in Vermont are not easy to come by! (There are only 600,000 people in the WHOLE state).
  8. Re: The cranky thread *Grumble Grumble Grumble* slow human resources people taking their time makin up their minds forever, sposed to give me an answer on monday and now not going to give an answer til this COMING monday and I need to know if I have this new job because if I do, I need to move, and the landlord at the place I've chosen to move to is driving me bonkers telling me to make up my mind!
  9. Re: The cranky thread I didn't SAY undesired, I said desireless.
  10. Re: The cranky thread Because they have something specific in their head that you were SUPPOSED to say, of course. Didn't you read your script?
  11. Re: The cranky thread oooh.... frustration! I want to be like Buddha and want nothing. I want to depend on no one. I want to hoard my feelings and my own power. I want to be desireless. Unfortunately I want a great deal of things. Therefore, I want to keep all the wanting a secret, all to myself, and instead pretend to be like Buddha, and all independent and whatnot. I don't want to admit that I want anything. *Scowls* And I don't get to have that illusion either. Here's something I want. I want to stomp my feet and have a tantrum.
  12. Re: Longest Running Thread EVER My great grandmother was an artist, so in addition to BoneDaddy's mom's stuff on the walls, we have her stuff too. Fortunately for me, my great grandmother liked to paint pictures of actual THINGS and PEOPLE, which is my preference. I have a wonderful painting she did of a mother and child in a field. She worked in oils and most of her paintings have a predominant shade of blue. She used to hide the blue paint pot from herself to avoid this, but they still all ended up blue. In addition, the house is graced/fettered (take your pic) with a couple of my own works. My son likes them, and that's enough for me.
  13. Re: Longest Running Thread EVER I like Steven King's work alot, but I don't read it or watch the movies - they give me nightmares. Since I am already prone the some truly abominable nightmares, I don't choose to let Steven King add to them.
