Ursacane has the unique power of summoning grizzlies made of water from a storm. The bigger the storm, the more grizzlies to wreck crap. If he could summon sharks, he would be Sharknado.

    The Brazen Hussar

The Brazen Hussar is one of the group leaders. While she has some martial arts skill and has had acrobatic training, what sets her apart is her phenomenal luck. This is what gets her into and out of scrapes. She does not use her skill to do something completely stupid such as diving through helicopter blades or wandering in the path of the intake for a jet engine. But balancing on a train ? Check. Mid air transfers ? Check. She is thought to be British from her accent although she has used disguises and altered her accent before. That and the name which is derived from brazen hussy. Hussy is British slang for an immoral girl/woman. And her distinctive cavalry jacket which links her to European rather than American militaries. She plays on innuendo and licentiousness to make police officers etc uncomfortable particularly in efforts to escape capture or combat. She is a very good people person often helping her colleagues out with their confidence or morale which is one of the reasons she is a good team leader, and has useful contacts. The horsewhip is not just for added HTH damage, she has used it to blind opponents and as a radio transmitter/receiver.

Just an excuse to use this pic again http://johnbecaro.deviantart.com/art/Commission-Brazen-Hussar-297524013 ? I say thee nay !

Lucy Davis was Fatal Femme. Originally appearing as a dumb girlfriend to gangster Walter Dumont, the Cardinal found out too late that she was the mastermind. Lucy was smart enough to change her look several times so that the Cardinal was never sure if he was battling someone new or her. This included changes to ethnicity. She never spent any time in jail and had numerous escape routes and safe houses available. She was a good shot which almost did for the Cardinal on at least one occasion. Lucy several times pretended to be the girlfriend of other members of The Revenge Society as it allowed them to spy on others and work on the good nature of the police and other forces of good.
After the furore of the Apalachin Conference Fatal Femme became less prominent and disappeared. In 1977 a book was published naming Lucy as Fatal Femme but no sign of her was ever established after 1969.

Randell Emmington Martell or REM is a bit of a dreamer. His stand is Stand. It disorienates people unless they have some way of telling which direction they are facing or follow the simple directions. They need to imagine that they are standing in the place where they live. Then they must face north and think about direction and why they have not thought about it before. Then they need to imagine that they are standing in the place where they work and face West and finally they must think about the place where they live and wonder why they haven't before. This is particularly nasty to the unemployed and those who have never had a job which upsets enemies of the group. REM uses it to punish dreamers and the homeless mainly. People with direction sense are immune to it as are those with a direction in their name as REM found out to his cost when Kanye West punched him out.

The Hobgoblin of Little Minds was originally a primary school grammar teacher known for her strictness and eventually kicked out for physical abuse of the students.  Her Stand is "Wordcrimes", which punishes any misuse of language (by the Hobgoblin's standards) in poetically appropriate ways.

They are called Tellermen. First reported in the 1960s these things are akin to robots but are made of a tough plastic. The activation code has been lost and no-one knows who originally created them. Certainly no-one has been able to replicate the process nor how to use the en masse. This is despite a thorough vivisection by renowned scientists and a less than thorough (but extremely violent) dismemberment by Good Old Bob using a standard chainsaw. Supposedly there are a few stored by the Pentagon and the Kremlin. Each one looks like a 6 foot 5 inch mannequin in a quasi policeman uniform. Various times they have been brought in action for an individual or a team and have served on both sides of the law. Telepathy awakened one but no others. A child awakened another. And now Tartarus has one. It says nothing but it obeys his orders. Yeah, his. No-one else's. Daniel Webster VII desperately wants one for example. It is far stronger than a normal human and if tasked attacks at full tilt, there is no subtlety to it. It can fetch and carry but the others don't tend to use it for that as its combat abilities are what makes it so prized and so very dangerous. This one has been designated as Tartarus Tellerman. And Tartarus claims he summoned it to serve him. Unsurprisingly there is no-one who believes that. They'd sooner believe Daniel Webster VII.

NB:- They look like this and it is what inspired me.

What does every demon team leader need ? Exactly ! A consort. And oh boy is she a stunner ! (or is she ?). A brunette of some sophistication she usually hangs back when the fighting starts as her apparal is not conducive to fighting i..e high heels and dresses that show a bit of leg and a decent amount of decolletage. Somehow, someway her presence seems to help throwing off enemy attacks and allowing the Tartarus Ten to fight better. Some say that this is all an illusion and that she is really an old withered crone like Baba Yaga. But there is no proof of that. Others say that she is a vampire but again there is no proof of that either. And does she know the truth of Tartarus ? Elizabeta Nigma just smiles like the Enigma she is.

I don't think it is bad form to post on the team you started and have done so quite a few times. Quite a few of us have done this as well.

So why hasn't a real powerful demon taken out Tartarus ? Simple ! One of his followers is the nefarius Daniel Webster VII. Daniel's enemies include all the members of Infernal Affairs, Diabolicus, The Corruption and The Dreamstealers. And one of Daniel's powers which his enemies have not discerned is an insane level of luck against the forces of evil. Not mild evil like the common or garden supervillain but real evil like demons, devils etc. Daniel's power will not work against normal police officers or those that are pure which surprisingly includes a couple of supervillains. Daniel has a lot of connections, is a financial wizard and an unrepentant thief. Daniel knows that Tartarus is not a real demon but here is the twist. Because Daniel works for Tartarus, some people believe that Tartarus is a real demon and is the source of Daniel's powers or indeed is his benefactor. This makes them tread carefully. After all no-one wants a repeat of what happened to the Malchias, demon prince of Attria now trapped as an action figure and lost in a warehouse.

Note: The Unforgiven, of Infernal Affairs, is one of those that is avoiding Daniel and taking no part in going after him. The reason for this is not Daniel's power but a set of rather sneaky spells cast by the Sophia and the Sybll which have made The Unforgiven believe that if he directly, or even indirectly, takes down Daniel then he will lose all his powers and be at the mercy of his enemies. So the feared sorceror is letting his colleagues deal with him instead. It amuses The Unforgiven's patrons that he has been fooled in this way as it neither enhances or diminishes his reputation, so for now they are letting him believe the lie.

Knockoff no longer knows his/her/its real name--Knockoff's powers allow him to turn into a copy of any other person, with most of their memories, skills, and powers, but an inferior version twisted towards petty crime.  Knockoff's ability to stay in any form is inversely proportional to their power level--he could hold the shape of a helpless infant for up to a year but Doctor Destroyer for only a second.  When Knockoff runs out of time on a form or is knocked out, he/she/it reverts to the last previous form that still has some time on it (usually that helpless infant.)

Barry Codas, Bar Code, is a type of psychometrist. Psychometry is the ability to get impressions from objects while touching them. Bar Code knows everything about something, or someone, when he looks at it. It shows up as a list in the air. This talent has allowed his team to escape from problems by using bus routes, traffic, heart attacks. It is also fundamental for estimating the worth of what they have taken.

The bar code file is stopped by solid cover like walls and forcefields. Obviously it says a wall of concrete or field, but not what's concealed by it.

    Eager Beaver

Was he a man that got turned into a beaver or was he a beaver that got intelligence ? Only a telepath knows for sure provided they can get past the telepathic scream he radiates. Eager Beaver looks like a human sized beaver and is often mistaken for a furry. Have pity on the poor police officers and other custodians of the law who went looking for a velcro strip or zip that was just not there and got walloped with the tail. Don't feel any sympathy for the drunks who made the same mistake though. Eager Beaver digs tunnels and build damns (rather big beaver dams) and is an enthusiatic follower of Tartarus. Whether he knows Tartarus is delisional does not seem to be relevant, Eager Beaver follows him. The Beaver is more of a support player but, hey, you take followers where you get them.

Rosco Yonder was a simple small time criminal with a big mouth when Algol found him about to be rubbed out by his fellow criminals for his inability to keep his big mouth shut. Algol stoped time and offered Rosco his help, if he pledged himself to him. Rosco agreded, and Algol atached the demon of Procyon to him. Rosco used the powers involved to kill all the other thugs, then founded that his new form lacks a mouth (not that he needs one anymore, but the inability to talk is the only downside Rosco sees in this).
Power wise, Procyon is a 'anti-sonic', that is, able to absorb all sonic and sound around himself. Sonic effects do not hurt him in the least (100% Sonic Damage Reduction). He can even make others unable to speak for short periods of time (Transformation), teleport by changing his body to 'anti-sound', absorb all sound in an area (Darkness vs Sound), and even absorb the sound he would of normally make (Invisibility vs Sound). He is still a talented cat burglar. He would of told you that himself, but he cannot.

Robert Gigus, "Regulus the Great", was a professional stage magician. Well, not to great. In fact, his act is so bad, he is offen mistaken for a comedian. One day, he risked life and limb to try to steal a honest to goodness magical grimour, only to be stopped by a magical superhero.

So, sitting in jail, he decided to no longer care. And Aglol came to him, to bind him with the demon of Regulus so he can spread his not caring to others as Regulus.

Regulus can manipulate the minds of others to promote the not caring spirit. From illusions designed to make the exter-ordernary appear ordernary, to emotion control, to drain PRE.

Algol was once a small time mystical supervilian named the Alven Benjamin, better know as The Arcanist. Being tiered of consently being defeated and jailed because of his limited magical skills (he could only use magical items), he swiped a book in prison which was a disguised mystical book about the demonic spirits which made up the Beenmen. Calling to Aglol, the demon of Aglol answer, by taking over his body. He then excaped from prison and worked for years on using his magic to make his host worthy of holding his spirit.

Aglol has a mission. His superiors need magic tp feed upon to survive. So, Aglol and his servents work on draining all magic from the Earth, all for his masters endless feast.

While some of the group might have been human once no-one truely believes that Cor Scorpii is human or ever was human. It is bad enough that he resembles a giant scorpion and can inflict death or disability via the sting but he can also cast spells. This was a nasty surprise the first time the group came under attack and Algol was so hard pressed that the heroes had a chance of winning when the scorpion threw several powerful spells out at all and sundry. The spells tend to either destructive or defensive in nature, there is no room for sophistication in the world of Cor Scorpii. So why is he not the boss or second in command ? Simple. He is not leadership material. Brute force, certainly but no vision for the future and no gift for inspiring others. He is better used as a threat as Algol has demonstrated on more than one occasion.
Cor Scorpii is interested in all forms of holy objects and antiquaries not just those which provoke destruction or salvation, including those that are small and frail and would have to be used by the others.
As for the seven deadly sins he is most interested by wrath which he can provoke by hurting someone either with his poison stinger or by a spell, pride which he can invoke by goading someone to attack him to show how good they are by taking him down, and lastly avarice which he provokes by setting up something like a hoard like Smaug's treasure in the Hobbit and then letting the bait come to him.
Algol has never said when and where he found the giant scorpion nor how he got his powers. Nor why the scorpion follows Proycon's orders although Spica said that Algol told him to and it never thought to question that.

I realy have to catch up to Death Tribble.

Before the invasion of Earth, the demon of Algol sent the demon of Pleiades out to Earth to find a suitiable host, Once there, she entered the womb of Mary Leads, a teenage girl of very religous stock. Seven mounths lader, she gave birth to seven girls, one which was born stillborn. And, Mary, who thought that she was giving birth to the next savier, died.

The six girls, given the names Pure, Penelopie, Pauleen, Prude, Passion, and Palma (the seventh, being 'dead' was never given a name) was rejected by there famaly, and all of them went to foster cair at difrent houses. They learned difrent things, and sometimes seemed to talk to themselves. In acuality, all seven minds were linked as one. When Algol finaly appered, they destroyed there foster famalies and found him.

All parts of Pleiades can fly. The unamed sister is also invisable and intangable, only able to be affected by the most holy of magic. All sisters can access one of seven powers. If one sister has the power, no other sister can use it till the other sister is done with it. The powers are:

    1) The ability to disintergrate solid mater on touch.
    2) The ability to shoot one of seven types of energy (Blast with Variable Special Effects).
    3) The ability to cause pain by touch (Blast, NND - Unable To Feal Pain).
    4) The ability to cause blindness by touch.
    5) The ability to shrink.
    6) The ability to grow.
    7) The ability to entangle targets in one of seven sustances (Entangle with Variable Special Effects).
(Game wise, this is a VVP, but with one of seven set effects. Sister seven needs to apply Affects Real World on her powers, but not so the others).

What makes them intresting is there group mind. What one knows, all know. That makes them hard to affect with mental powers. But that is also a weakness, as if one is affected by mental powers, then ALL are afected by mental powers.

Herbert Acuris was posesed by the demon of Hibius. A former Driving Instructer when he was human, he still remembers how to drive. He is a rival of Aldaboram, always trying to prove th Algol that he is stronger and tougher than the ram. In reality, he is not as strong or sturdy as his rival, and can not do the strength tricks his rival can. Instead, he is faast, and can use his speed to do speedster tricks (imagien speed punches by a brick, or being able to strike everyone in a small radious around him...scary thought).

Like Aldaboram, Hibius is extrmly loyal to Algol. And both of them are able to put aside there rivaly for the good of Algol. They will pick it up later, thoe.

Aldebaran was once a human named Albert Bran. He was given by Algol the demon of Aldebaran, which changed him completely. Their is vary little humanity left. His low intelligence is not exactly correct...he is intelligence and cunning when it comes to dealing out pain. He is confused by modern pieces of technology.

Power wise, he is extremely strong, and hard to hurt. He can use his strength in smart but bizarre ways. He can cause shockwaves in any large object by hitting it. He can drive people into the ground or other large object (Entangle). He can easily crush a normal human head in one of his hands. He is so strong that he can punch the air, and the victim can still feal it. Of course that is not all he can do, just the stuff he can do the most offen.

No-one knows what, or who, sent Susan Adams off the rails. Algol might know but he is not saying. She had good grades and looked like being a potential selection for the US Olympic team at a number of different sports. And then it all went spectacularly wrong. She was accused of taking recreational drugs and of sleeping with tutors to get better marks. This went global with hysterical headlines ordering her deportation from the States on the grounds that she was a corrupting influence to all the youth of America. Distraught and abandoned by everyone, she could not even get work in a homeless shelter or citizen's advice bureau, a man took pity on her and suggested that she get a book from the library on self help and assertiveness. Unfortunately the book ended up with at the Smithsonian was to put it mildly a tad unusual. It was a Sumerian work which Susan could suprisingly read. It contained knowledge that she eagerly devoured. And then she went in search of occult shops. Not the usual ones but the real ones. And that is where the trouble began.
Susan reappeared as Spica. Her first fight should have been her last were it not for the fact that she was using a cursed weapon which would not let the hero who disarmed her do anything else but wield it. He had to be restrained from killing civilians, police officers and his own colleagues. Susan got away. And with more training and more research she got better. She prefers using polearms but now implies that any weapon in her hands is deadly to all. She found Algol and let him know in no uncertain terms she was 'tired of waiting for him to come get her or summon her'. Now she dresses like an evil version of the goddess Athena and exults in her evil.

He also can make up temporary teams of supervillians, for other masterminds to use for a flat fee (his favorite team name is the Crazy Eights, but he has many more names in his hat).
