  1. Re: Canadian Super Villain Team- Need Help Here are a few from my campaign. Note, I'm a historiand and freelance writer, so some of the references might be obscure but very much Canadian in flavor Maid of the Mist--a Niagara heroine, with flight, limited control over water, and the ability to create fields of mists Traverspine Gorilla--native to Northern Ontario and nearly ageless, making his first appearance in 1906. Very similar in appearance and powers to Marvel's Sasquatch (the character is based on Ontario's own Bigfoot legend) Black Donnelly--an avenging undead gunslinger with the ability to manipulate and create shadows and darkness (from the infamous Black Donnelly outlaws of Ontario) Soul Survivor--- the last remaining Beothuk Indian of Newfoundland, a virtually immortal female shaman. Covey--- An aquatic, aqua-man type hero from the East Coast (named after slang for a native born coaster) Hurricane Hazel---a female hero with the ability to transform herself into a tornado and with limited control over the elements (named after the destructive 1950s hurricane) Wapiti--A fast, strong character with antlers that gore opponents (Wapiti is the Canadian name for caribou)
  2. Hi everyone I had an idea for a female crime lord in Cairo, and I was going to call her Cleopatra. I've heard that Hero has a character by the same name. I'd consider purchasing the appropriate book if the character fits my idea or presents a better one. Can anyone tell me a bit about Cleopatra? Thanks in advance
  3. Re: The Blind, from Predators I like many of these suggestions. I think perhaps the Blind's lair will indeed be an ancient monastery, even occupied by monks. But a series of secret doors and tunnels leads to a secret sanctum full of modern trappings and technology. I really like the idea of loyal villagers protecting him/preserving his secrets. Any suggestions of what kind of interesting encounters one can find within his lair? There's no lighting, for one....he doesn't need it, right? That puts heroes on the defensive. I'd like a training room that can be used to challenge the PCs in some way. Thanks for the input
  4. Hi everyone My players have been plagued by The Blind (the assassin from Predators) for several months now and have decided enough is enough. They want to track him down to his home/lair (he's gotta have a place to hang his clothes, right?) and confront him there. I'm turning to everyone on these boards for their thoughts as to what his abode should look like and include. Any suggestions would be welcome Thanks in advance
  5. Re: Predators question Thanks everyone for replying to my query. Its very much appreciated. Based upon the feedback, I'm confident that Predators would be a good buy. Thanks everyone
  6. I'm a new dark champions gm, so I thought I aske the experienced hands here for some assistance. I have vague notions for villians that I'd like to feature in upcoming sessions...one a Eastern European crimelord with horror/vampire undertones....the other a frightening killer that I could use in a wild west setting. A quick scan of the Predators table of contents as listed on the Hero Games website shows two villains therein that might fit my needs: Strad and the Headless Hangman. I'm therefore considereing ordering the book, but before I do so I'd like a better idea as to whether these characters so indeed fit my needs. Can someone provide brief overviews of the characters? They sound great. Thanks in advance
