  1. Some friends and I were trying to simulate the movie version of Ghost Rider, and came up against a problem. We gave him an offensive damage shield to simulate the heat of his body/hellfire aura that melted knives, etc. We gave him stretching with an OAF to simulate the chain/whip he had. The damage shield extends through the chain. A similar thought exists for some other effects he had: I wrote his use of hellfire with the mud clods and shotgun as an RKA with an OAF object of opportunity, and the bike as a vehicle with a damage shield; but a friend suggested a transform of items with a range of powers. That might cover the whip, too. What would be your take on either thing? BTW, I am assuming you saw the movie, which was awesome...

In the movie, that seemed to extend through the chain he used as a whip. If he were to use a whip move (MA or grab), and make contact, would his DS carry through the chains? or would we have to buy a separate DS for that (which doesn't make sense to me, since if he drops it, it is just ordinary chain again). A similar question exists for some other effects he had: I wrote his use of hellfire with the mud clods and shotgun as an RKA with an OAF object of opportunity, and the bike as a vehicle with a damage shield; but a friend suggested a transform of items with a range of powers. 3. Re: Teleporting Oxygen into and out of a hex Maybe this is just a bad approach, but what about simply transforming the oxygen in the hex to something else as a power (as per USPD, pg 268 with the Philosopher's stone multipower), and giving it the sfx that the oxygen is teleported out/in, etc?
  4. This has probably been answered, but my search skills are poor. I ahve a team where a super strong character throws a second character at a bad-guy. The second character has flight. Can the second character: 1. add his flight to the end of the range of the throw, essentially gaining inches of movement 2. Use his flight at the last minute to add velocity damage in what is essentially a movethrough; 3. Use his flight to "correct" a bad throw, and hit a target that would have otherwise have been missed by the throw? Thanks for your help.
