  1. Re: Knightshift Stories -- Campaign Log Best of luck getting the store up and running!
  2. Re: My characters I agree that in the real world, such organizations are indeed evil. I was, however, referring to specific generes (such as cyperpunk) where things are slightly different. Generally in those generes, large corporations and governments (when there is a distinction between the two) are wholely evil and anyone working for them is loyal to the company, and, thus, are also generally evil except when plot dictates otherwise. Any campaign that featured characters acting as the Almighty Dollar would be a decidedly dark campaign with lots of opportunity for intense role playing: i.e. - at what point in a war against a super-national organization with unchecked power does collateral damage in the form of innocent casualties become acceptable and at what scale?
  3. Re: Looking for Advice on a "Buffer/ Healer" Superhero This would depend on your character's particular flavor of pacifism. Draining enough STR to make a villian collapse under his own weight could violate some people's sense of "Do no harm". This is a very good point. Working with your GM on a powerset like this will make everyone's life much easier.
  4. Re: Looking for Advice on a "Buffer/ Healer" Superhero Which means that (if I were GM): A) the villians will develope ways to counteract your powers (a super villian with massive debuffing powers, for instance), and as soon as the villians figure out what is going on you are the primary target ... if you have to spend all of your actions keeping the OAF away from the villian, you won't have time to fully buff the team (which will make you prioritize who and how you buff). That being said. This sounds like it would be quite a bit of fun to play ... nothing like healing and buffs to allow a GM to throw all sorts of nasty stuff at a party.
  5. Re: My characters Cool character. Although I would question dubbing him a "villian" outright. In certain genres (cyperpunk, for instance), he would be a "hero".
  6. I am in the process of getting a new HERO campaign going with players who are new to HERO (as am I). One of my players wants to play a Ragman clone (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ragman). Any clues as to how this type of power could be made?
