I have an idea for a villain and his defense. What I want to simulate is if someone tries any type of attack that relies on Velocity that they appear to go into his cloak an reappear a nice distance away. I have the ability built as such:
Through the Void Damage Mitigation: Desolidification (affected by Light), Trigger (Activating the Trigger is an Action that takes no time, Trigger resets automatically, immediately after it activates, Character does not control activation of personal Trigger; +3/4) (70 Active Points); No Conscious Control (-2), Limited Power Only Against Attacks with Velocity (-1 1/2), Cannot Pass Through Solid Objects (-1/2)
and
Through the Void: Teleportation 1", Personal Immunity (+1/4), MegaScale (1" = 1 km; +1/4), Reduced Endurance (0 END; +1/2), Trigger (Activating the Trigger is an Action that takes no time, Trigger resets automatically, immediately after it activates, Character does not control activation of personal Trigger; +3/4), Usable As Attack (+1) (7 Active Points); Restrainable (-1/2)
The Trigger for the Desolid is any Velocity Damage Type attack against him and the Teleportation is triggered by activating the Desolid. I believe with this chain I may need affects desolid on the Teleportation. If I build it with the Teleport going first, would the Villain take the damage anyway?
My group love to use Move-Thru attacks and I want a cool defense for that kind of attack. Plus it seems to fit with the Villain's Character Concept.
Thanks and good gaming.
