  2. Re: CHAMPIONS OF THE NORTH -- What Would You Like To See? This should be listed under general rules- what would you like to see. Sorry for the screw up. I don't know if this exists but I would like to see 2 things; 1st- More real world game translation. Such as how fast do sharks swim, strength of an elephant, and equipment numbers/cost (handcuffs, mace,taser). The reason I mention this is my desire to base my character on real world levels. Strong as gorilla, eyes of a falcon, hearing of a dolphin. 2nd- Some Champion translation of current super hero's. What would Spiderman's dex be or Nightcrawlers powers be and cost. Just for comparison. Or is it your desire that we don't compare. Saying basically, it is a different genre forget about comparison and live in the Champions moment. Thank you for all the fun through the years. I haven't played Champions in about 20 years as I used to play with my older brother (great GM) when I was a kid and haven't found a good game since. Life and wife get in the way. But I have always created characters by myself for the day I would play again. Joe:thumbup:

    Healing

    Hello again. I had posted a question about healing/immortality/immunity a while back and got some great info that helped me to adjust my character. Thanks. My question is similar but a little more detailed this time. I am wondering how to best simulate a character who is cannot be affected by any disease, poison, chemicals and such. He is not immune but his body heals so he cannot suffer any effects and he is not a carrier. Example: he may contact Hepatits, Cancer, or TB but he heals it completely. He is not immune but he will heal. Secondly I am thinking the character is a fluctuation of sound/photon energy and human. Kind of a synergy of those elements on a cellular level. Cells in flux between the 3. So he appears human but can also morph into energy. Question: Lame concept? As GM would you say yeah right good concept maybe later pigs will fly too. Possible names Synergy or Amp? Thanks again for any info. I read the sight often and enjoy it greatly, I just don't post much as my experience playing is limited. Joe

    I know there was a discussion recently on the true levels of speed and what each level represents. I thought I might take it a step further and inquire as to the other stats. What do GM's out there think are the maxes of human potential before they go into "how the hell did he do that!?!" STR, DEX, CON, ETC, ETC.... Thanks for the opinions.
  6. How would you all construct a healing character like Wolverine, The Highlander, or a vampire like character such as Selene from the movie Underworld? My question is on life support, damage resistance, or healing. Technially they are not immune to disease and drugs yet they are not affected by them either. Should "immortal" characters be a function of MASSIVE regeneration abilities or could you simmulate the effect with defense or life support and a whole lot of body? Any ideas, just curious.
