Re: Pyrokinesis Uthanar - This specific power (pyrokinesis) is detailed in the USPD (revised), page 92. The sidebar on that page, titled "Telekinesis and Energy", provides more info as well. I am not sure if the printed information there will answer every question in this thread, but it certainly explains this use of TK in a more detailed manner than the explanation for TK in the main rulebook.
