Is it leagal to have a Variable Advantage +1/2 with the limitation Variable limitation -1 that afects a multipower but is purchased outside the multipower? Example 40: Spells Multi power with four slots 27: Variable advantage +1/2 for up to 40 points of Spells +1; -1 Variable limitation -1/2

In general if the rules don't mention it then ask the GM for a ruling and go with his opinion.
