I just changed my cell number, because I was constantly harrassed by debt collectors going after someone who had the number before me. Which means now I get calls asking for a different person. I hope it's a net gain, statistically.

I remember visiting a tiny cemetery years ago. It was on a hilltop in the middle of nowhere, with nothing but scrubby hills in all directions, as far as you could see. Somewhere out there was a flock of sheep. Their vocalizations carried on the wind right across the cemetery. They sounded like human children, but wrong. It was the perfect environment in which to view the century-old headstones of people who died very young. Awesomely creepy.

I had a retaining wall made of railroad ties that fell. I was looking for a cheap way to replace it. This is a picture of a retaining wall made of stacked bags of concrete mix. You lay a row and wet it with the hose. Gravity, fluidity, and the miracle of concrete makes it work. The paper bags come off and it looks like stacked stone.
