  1. "I'll call the authorities," Batgirl says. "The dinosaur hall should be visible from the overlook. The Hall of Minerals and Gems is down there as is a special exhibit on gems and jewelry are right below you."
  2. "I'm looking at the building map on my Mini-Bat Computer," comes Batgirl's voice over your radio. "You are between the Hall of American Indians and the Hall of Arctic Life. In front of you is an overlook to the first floor. The Hall of Minerals and Gems is down there as is a special exhibit on gems and jewelry."
  3. "Okay," Batgirl says. "Good hunting. Lady Heart and I can use the building's two chimneys for cover."
  4. "We wait," Batgirl replies. "More than likely, the burglar or burglars plan to climb that rope and then rappel down the side of the building."
  5. The Mini-Bat Computer, which is the size of a smart phone, has a built-in video camera and Batgirl, being a Gotham University grad student, is familiar with the building.
  6. The room is 150-feet wide by about 700-feet wide and 12-feet high. It is a display floor with exit lights and a low-level of lighting. (OCC: I had to measure it on a map of the University of Pittsburgh, which is standing in for Gotham University.)
  7. Batgirl, Stealth 13- & Security Systems 13-, and keeping to the shadows as much as possible, inspects the alarm wiring. Speaking softly, she says, "Alarm wiring's been bridged." There's nothing in sight.
  8. Yes. After Batgirl spots Paladin on her right, she lowers the night vision lenses built into her cowl.
  9. Batman responds, "Understood. Over." Batgirl responds, "Unless they try to leave, wait for me, Lady Heart. I'm one block away," Paladin, you are closing in on Gotham University and have Trinity Cathedral in sight. You should get there just after Batgirl, who has to scale the building while you can land on the roof.
  10. There is nobody on the rope. Batgirl responds by radio, "I'm passing the Bioscience complex. Should be there in less than five minutes." Batman responds, "You're closer than I am, Batgirl. I should be there in fifteen minutes. Paladin, if you like, you can break off your stakeout."
  11. A skylight is open slightly. A rope is tied to a pipe and goes through the opening.
  12. "Understood, Lady Heart. Could you check the museum roof? A couple of burglars got in that way."
  13. The following comes over the radio, "Batgirl to Lady Heart, I'm passing the University Medical Center complex and should be at your location in ten minutes."
  14. Batman responds, "The team there has company SUVs."
  15. "Good question, Paladin," comes Batman's radioed response. "The Roman Catholic Church is the only one who insisted on a donation to the local diocese and a rate reduction for having a company vehicle on their property. Fortunately, the company, which is owned by a Wayne Enterprises company, permits employees to use their own vehicles, for which they get paid for the milage they put on it while working."
  16. Not around the museum, but there are a couple of vehicles from a maid service company that, according to its advertising, keeps God's house clean, parked by the cathedral rectory. Edit: There are several vehicles with visor cards reading CLERGY parked there, too.
  17. Closing in on the museum, Lady Heart spots Trinity Episcopal Cathedral, which is across Fifth Avenue from the museum. There is little traffic in the area as a campus police car rolls along Henry Street, which is on the back side of the museum.
  18. As Lady Heart flies toward the Gotham University Museum, she flies over Gotham Transit Authority's buses, commuter train, and monorail as well as Kingston Square, which is active until midnight and on the western side of Gotham University, and Burnley Harbor, Gotham City's "Little Bohemia" which is just to the west of Kingston Square. (OCC: These locations are mentioned in the Daily Planet Guide to Gotham City.)
  19. "Batman to Batgirl," came over the radio. "Anything to report? Over." "Just two muggers dealt with," Batgirl replies. "Over." "Gotham University's museum could also be a target," Batman says. "You know the area? Over." "Yeah, I do," Batgirl replies. "Heading there now. Over." Turning to Lady Heart, she adds, "It's on Fifth Avenue between South Craig and South Dithridge Streets." "Copy. Batman out." "Batgirl out."
  20. There were mugging in two different places. Both were dealt with. After the second one was dealt with, Batgirl comments, "This is a slow night."
  21. Batgirl heads for the Diamond District, which is on South Gotham Island, south of Gotham Park. (OCC: Gotham Park is called Robinson Park on some maps of Gotham City.)
  22. "Batman to Batgirl," comes over the radio. "I'll visit Catwoman. I'm closer to her than you are. Over." "Batgirl here. I understand and will head for the Diamond District. Over." "Good hunting. Batman out." "You too. Batgirl out."
  23. "Not much," Batgirl replies. "The two times I had to, I was backing up Batman, who was disguised as "Matches" Malone. We made comments about overpowering the criminals we were replacing."
