Elliot
Has anyone used this wonderful GURPS book for their Star Hero game? I have both games but I want a high skilled and high powered game and HERO does that best. So, has anyone done anything with Transhuman Space for HERO? gauss
No, I have not, but I REALLY want to. The type of characters you can create in Transhuman Space are very cool, and DO NOT fit with Gurps rules. Don't get me wrong, I like Gurps. It was my first real RPG experience (aside from owning the DnD books), but it is too gritty, and too focused on playing normal humans. How the hell are you supposed to play AKVs? Or a wearable computer? It just seems that Hero would do this so much better...
Elliot
Yea, I don't like GMing GURPS with over 200 point characters and alot of the bioroids and cybershells are way over the mark. Somebody has got to have a conversion somewhere...
Mastermind
Re: Transhuman Space HERO I am currently trying to start a THS campaign over at HEROCentral http://www.herocentral.net/campaignInformation.htm?campaignId=455880 As far as conversions go, if you have the GURPS books, it is pretty easy to figure out how to "HERO" them. Steve
Re: Transhuman Space HERO? Kazei 5 would give you a lot of information on bioroids and cybershells in Hero System terms. I recommend it as an aid in converting things.
