Guest Kolava
Simple question about the concept of projecting ones self out of their body into the Dreamscape. Is this better done with Extra Dimensional Movement, or with Duplication? I only mention the latter because FREd has an example power called "astral projection" built with Duplication, and EDM has no obvious mechanic for leaving a body behind. To clarify, the projected mind cannot move about the physical world, only the Dreamscape.
ghost-angel
I'd go with the Duplication example in FREd personally, XDM is for moving the body around, Duplication as they example builds it is a good way to move out of body.
Blue
I have a character built around a cybernetic form that is sort of done like this. She has extradimensional travel with the "leaves vulnerable form" limitation. The travel is only to one dimension (the "cyber dimension"), and the character's Hero ID is triggered there, which is more powerful than their normal form. It's complicated, but it works. Guest Kolava
How does this "leaves vulnerable form" limitation work? I was thinking it could be the -1 1/2 "0 DCV unaware concentration throughout" limitation, but XDM is a movement, not constant power.
