Figuring out how they're built requires a more in-depth study of the series--and I'm not in the right position to find that out for myself. I'd even have to see if I did buy a new copy of Magician: Master to replace the first ed. paperback I lost. (The orignal covers looked a lot better than the second/third ed. covers, IMO.)
