Mutant for Hire
Was googling around the Net when I stumbled across Tales of the Common People. It contains fanfiction, primarily centered around the Marvel Universe, but with a twist: none of the stories are about superheroes. Instead the challenge of the website to writers was to create stories about ordinary people who lived in the Marvel Universe. The stories are a mixed lot, as can be expected with most fanfic. Still, I thought it was an interesting perspective, especially for GMs who have to create and play NPC characters, ordinary people in a world with superheroes and supervillains. I know there are folks always looking for idea fodder.

Magmarock
Re: Tales of the Common People Wasn't there a series of graphic novels that were about superheroes seen through the eyes of the common man? I can't recall the title (I keep thinking "Gods & something or other), but I think it was published by DC, because I remember that Superman was one of the heroes. Doug McCrae
Re: Tales of the Common People As far as I'm aware, Kurt Busiek's Marvels (1994) was the first example of this idea - a superhero universe as seen through the eyes of a normal.
