secretID
I bought the 5E rules just a couple of months ago. I haven't played at all, but I'm getting pretty comfortable, and I was thinking of looking for a PBEM game. Are the revisions substantial enough that I should/must have them? Steve Long
Re: should I buy 5th revised? Since this isn't a rules question, I've moved it to "Discussion" so that fans who'd like to offer their opinions can do so.

I'll admit an interst in ReFred, but I don't think I'll purchase it anytime soon. we do have a new player intending to join a few weeks ago. I suggested he hold off until the new book came out. That way, our group would have one of the newest products and he could start with the newest Big Thing . After all that rambling, I guess I'm saying that you don't have to buy it. You may want to eventually, but I'd get involved with a PBeM first and see what you think. While I'm offering advice... Try your PBeMing at Hero Central! It's the shiznit! secretID
Re: should I buy 5th revised? Thanks. I ended up posting this under another heading, before it was moved. That seems to be the general consensus.
pinecone
Re: should I buy 5th revised? Dude ...this question is like asking "Should I stick with my girlfriend, whos very nice....or make a play for that hot chick over there?" There is no right answer... The new book is nice, not nessisary, but nice....
