End cost on MA

I have a question about Martial Arts and their End costs... namely what are they?

I'm running a Heroic level game. The character is using a Bow based MA. Normally, firing the really heavy bow costs him 3 END (13 STR Min). But he has a Deadly Blow Talent, increasing that to 4 END (I think). Now, when he uses a basic strike that adds two to his DC, does that increase it by 1 as well? How do you, genericly, figure in the END costs from MA?

Thanks.

Re: End cost on MA

IIRC, MA manoeuvres cost no END. You pay END for the STR you use to make the attack, and any bonuses due to MA manoeuvres and/or MA DC cost no END. I think the same will apply to damage-increasing talents, unless the talent description says otherwise. ;)

1) your pay for your STR normally

2) Talents don't cost END unless the description states otherwise

3) MA don't cost END

(Curses, beat to the punch!) :)

The only exception to this is MA manuvers that don't have an inherent use of strength (like martial dodge), which cost 1 END. Unfortunately, my book isn't handy or I'd give a page ref.
