grymlocke
I was just watching a DaVinchi code thing on the history channel (jusus was married, had a daughter, church cover up for 2k years, knight templar, etc...) and it got me thinking, this could be a really cool modern/dark cahmpions idea...the last of the 'blood royal' (jesus' line) today, hunted by dark forces, has uncontrolable power (but maifest for 'good' deeds only) and doesn't realize who she/he is !! our dark champions characters stumble into this 2000 year drama and get stuck in the middle....dark forces on one side want to kill the decendant, and so do the church(s) to keep the truth buried and the world in general hasn't a clue !!! a bit sacriligious sure, but imagine the possibilities for a ripping good camapign... Curufea
Re: Heroes of the blood royal.. Only sacriligious to the religious, I wouldn't worry about it. Anyhow, have a look at the Preacher comic - quite similar

st barbara
Re: Heroes of the blood royal.. Try reading "The Da Vinci Code" or even "Holy Blood, Holey Grail" by Baigent, Leigh and Lincoln for more ideas.
st barbara
Re: Heroes of the blood royal.. Aww geez ! "Holey Grail"! No wonder it got lost. They threw it out because it had a hole in it !
Killer Shrike
Re: Heroes of the blood royal.. Im using a variation of this, combined w/ elements of Arthurian Legend for one of the PC's backstory in the Mill Men campaign. Ask Odd Hat about it; he provided me with a good deal of the content for it.
