[/quote'] On the one hand, I see the logic of this. However, on the other hand, when he's in the other form and can't use the gun, he doesn't have the gun. You can't use a focus not in your possession. On a macro sense, the better answer is likely to build a Transformer using multiform - only one form having the OAF gun.
