Zed-F
I don't have my books in front of me, so hopefully someone knows the answer. Suppose I want to grab an unwilling living target and throw him, for instance, as a fastball special. How do you determine how far he goes? Is it via the normal throwing rules? Presumably one can resist such an attack with casual STR, and of course any damage one takes from hitting anything that might be in his flight path would be resisted with PD. But grab-and-throw is a half-phase action, and if the target doesn't have the casual STR to immediately break the grab and doesn't have a held or abortable phase with which to avoid the grab portion of the maneuver, he could be out of luck. It seems like if the thrower's main idea is to get someone away from something/someone else, this could be fairly difficult for the defender to prevent. Almost like a movement usable as attack effect, in a way.
MitchellS
Re: Throwing question You can throw someone however far based on additional strength and the throwing rules. An unwilling target is -4 range modifier as far as trying to hit something with him though.
