(so are coeds but that's another story) Look for distinctive markers of the english language. Apostrophes usually come before only 2 letters, t or s. There are only 2 words in english that are 1 letter words. I and A. Start there then make things fit. BTW this works every time if you use a straight cipher of letters to numbers even when out of order. If using it for an actual code I would suggest writing it backward in groups of 5 letters each with 2 x's next to each other to mark sentence breaks It can be confusing but would be harder to decipher. My sig would be like this but not changing to numbers. tnodo hweso htdna yrani bdnat sredn uohwo sohtx xdlro wehtn ielpo epfos dnik0 1ylno eraer ehtxx

Maybe. I'm pretty sure you aren't supposed to be posting the code on the website. Steve has no problem with people who figure it out though. Just keep the code private. I was starting to doubt though because I just made a javascript (nerdly-ness...over..whelming...) program to decode messages and Steve's were a bit garbled. I've noticed there are a bunch of places where he consistently swaps the letter l and w and z and q I think. Having said that I'm pretty tempted to pick up a damaged copy of Pulp Hero from the online store.

But when I ordered Valdorian Age, I also ordered a Decoder Ring.

Having said that I'm pretty tempted to pick up a damaged copy of Pulp Hero from the online store. No java-script for me. The only Java I deal with is the juice. I didn't realize there was a decoder ring until I started looking around the site a little. I thought Super Squirrell was playing games with code and made it kinda easy to figure out. After looking at a few more things on the pulp hero thread I realized what it was and then edited my posts to PROTECT THE SECRET OF THE DECODER RING. So I had some fun deciphering the code. Hopefully no harm done and Steve and Ben haven't sent hitmen to Georgia to take me out for the possibility I caused them to go broke. Hmm. Did I say Georgia? I meant the former Soviet republic not the one between Tennessee and Florida. Yeah. And I don't speak English either. It's ... a clever translation program.
