DEF Advantages

I asked this in the Hero Designer section but then thought it might be good to ask this just in case.

 

Am I correct in thinking that the DEF of a Base or Vehicle can have the same type of advantages that a character's Defenses can have? IE: Hardened, etc?

Sure. There are plenty of examples of Hardened DEF, Ablative DEF, and such in published books. But as always, the GM should approve anything that seems weird or potentially unbalancing.
