Steve Long Posted November 11, 2005 Report Share Posted November 11, 2005 Re: Computers and Vehicles As noted on 5ER 460, “Most programs require one or more Skills to be useful.†If doing or using something requires a Skill, typically a Computer must have that Skill to do or use that thing. Programs are not substitutes for Skills in most cases — they’re instructions for how to use Skills. Programming a Computer to “Drive Car†is meaningless if the Computer lacks the appropriate TF, for example. As always, the final decision as to what’s required is up to the GM.
