Multidimensional explosion

If I want to simulate an attack that affects more than one dimension at a time, can I simulate that just by taking the "transdimensional" advantage at the appropriate level, on the attack, or do I have to buy a separate attack(one for each dimension) and then link them together?

The rules for the Transdimensional Advantage make it clear that a Transdimensional power can only be used to affect one dimension at a time. Therefore, to affect multiple dimensions simultaneously, a character would need multiple attacks that are Linked together or otherwise used all at once. Alternately, he could try to convince his GM to allow another Advantage for “affects multiple dimensions at once” (perhaps this would entail doubling the cost of the Transdimensional he’s already paying for, or paying +1/4 for every x2 dimensions the character can affect at once).
