Dust Raven Posted February 14, 2006 Report Share Posted February 14, 2006 At the game on Friday, our group was discussing some elements of Pulp action and came up with an interesint one that isn't at all universal, but fun. It's the idea that the lead female of the story goes through hell. He's tracked through mud, the hair gets all tangled up, her clothes torn... you get the idea. However, unstead of looking bedraggled, the overall effect is that she becomes more attractive. Think of Joan in Romancing the Stone. Anyway, the conversation resulted in the following Power: Don't Hit Me Because I'm Beautiful: Absorption (physical) 2d6 to COM. 10 points. Doesn't look like much, but a character with a base 10 COM will turn into a 34 COM addonis/goddess after a Turn of average combat in most genres.
