Delayed Effect

Did the value of the Delayed Effect change between 5E and 5ER? FREd says it's a +1/4, but in The Ultimate Mystic, under the Alchemy sample spells (potions), it's listed as +1/2. Is this a change or a mistake?

Without looking at it, the value of Delayed Effect changes based upon the slot multiple -- one of the many reasons why Delayed Effect sucks.

It's still +1/4. The additional +1/4 was (probably) to double the number of powers the character can have in use (I don't have Ultimate Mystic in front of me to verify).

But there was no indication in TUM that the number of storable powers had been doubled. That's why I asked.

 

And there is no standard base number. It's set by the GM based on the campaign/genre/milieu/other French words. And TUM didn't specify an assumed base that Delayed Effect was based on.
