Pushing damage

Greetings Steve,

 

First the formality of "I checked the faq and rules and didn't find...." out of the way, a question that came up on a thread elsewhere.

 

Is pushing damage, notably for HA or HKA, considered base damage or added damage.

 

The basic example is someone with an HKA/HA at 15 active points, and has a 30 STR.

When pushing the power would the damage be 8 DC (3 from power, 3 from STR and 2 from pushing) or 10 DC (3 from power + 2 from pushing, then 5 from STR).

I swear this has been asked and answered before, but I can’t find it either. So I give the following answer with the caveat that if and when I find another post on the subject I’ll review them both and harmonize or change as needed.

 

Damage from Pushing an attack counts as base damage.
