It seems like a binary equation: either he's still desolid or he's not. I could be wrong. It wouldn't be the first time.
Rapier
Re: drain and suppress I think powers with flat costs have to be completely drained OR suppressed before turning off. It seems like a binary equation: either he's still desolid or he's not. I could be wrong. It wouldn't be the first time. That is what I recall also. IIRC, there was something weird about Powers with Adders. I don't remember if it was you Drain the base and it shuts off or you Drain the base with the Adders before it shuts off...all I can recall off the top of my head was that I read it and said "huh." I'll dig out the book and get back to this. EDIT: Yeah, it was Drain the base Power and not the Adders. So if you had Invisibility to Sight Group (20 pts) with the No Fringe Adder (10 pts) you only need Drain (and when I say Drain in this post, I'm lumping Suppress and Dispel in there with it) the 20 pts for the base Invisibility. In theory, you can use the Can Add/Remove Adders, but I have never seen a character (even a published one) that used this construct. I'm sure there is one out there, but I just don't recall seeing one.
secretID
Re: drain and suppress Because you said there was a language issue, here are answers exactly as you asked the questions: if i use a drain to a desolification guy and i roll 35: nothing happens (40active cost for a desolification) right? Yes. but if i use a suppress and i roll also a 35 what happen with the desolification? Nothing. However, you can drain repeatedly to get to the necessary total. Same thing for suppress.
