Whoops, haven't seen James Gillen in a while and to be honest, indeed, you are correct, I confused you!

I don't get what you are saying here. Can you please elaborate? Going back to your original post' date=' are you saying "Let KAs be bought 5/d6 like normal attacks, but they do -1 STUN per die [b']with a minimum of 1 per die[/b]". (bold added by me)

 

This only raises the average stun for 30 AP from 15 to 16. Still short of the 18.67 avg stun that 30 AP of standard KA does.

Yes. That is what I meant. And you're right, I got the math slightly wrong. Having gone back over it, I see where I made the error. Now I have to come up with a different scheme that keeps the average the same... Hmmm Maybe subtract 1 STUN only from the dice that are 1's and 2's (1's count as 0 STUN, 2's count as 1 STUN), which would give an average of 19, which is pretty close.
