Partial Standard effect

Based on previous answers, and after reading Page 104, I am asking for this clarification.

 

You have a 1 1/2d6 HtH killing attack. You decide that you want the half die to be standard effect, but not the base 1d6 (partially SER are allowed according to page 104).

 

So you have a 1d6 Kill +1 body for standard effect.

When you add you STR (Assuming 25), you then have a 2d6 Kill +2 (SER).

 

Is this correct?

Yes, that's the easiest way to calculate it. An argument might be made for 2d6 +4 on the basis of strict proportionality, but that's not worth the effort in a simple situation like this.
