Ablative Burnout

Here is the power:

 

Force Field (9 PD/9 ED), Activation Roll 15-, Burnout (+0), Reduced Endurance (0 END; +1/2) (27 Active Points); Ablative BODY Only (-1/2), OIF (-1/2)

 

What is the effect of this build? We want an ablative force field that has a chance of burning out. Is this the correct way to build it? Would it be one roll or two?

It would be two rolls. First you make the Activation Roll to see if the Ablative defense works. Whether that roll succeeds or fails, you then make the Burnout roll.
