Area of Effect One Hex - who does it effect?

Say my superteam-mates are beating up the big bad guy (hand to hand, but in hexes next to bad guy) and my character hits the hex with big bad guy with an area of effect one hex. It will effect the bad guy but does it get my superteam-mates in the hexes next to bad guy but are in hand to hand attacks with him?

How does the advantage accurate change/modify this?

It affects everyone in the target hex. It does not affect any surrounding hexes.

 

With Accurate, it only affects a single target, not everyone in the hex -- it just makes that target easier to hit because the DCV is only 3.
